best decorated loops?

We'll be arriving at the Fort next Sunday and staying for 10 days or so. We've never been at WDW for Christmas, although we were there for T'giving in 2006-2009 so have seen lots of holiday decorations. We won't have a cart but we want to walk/bike around and see the decorated campsites (we'll be in one of the full hookup loops - I'm hoping for 1600 or 1700). If we can't make it through all of the loops, where do you think we'll get the most bang for our buck? I know when we've been there in November 100, 700, 500 and one of the loops along the main road (maybe 1600?) had awesome decorations. Is that likely to hold true for December as well? Are there any great decorations up now that will be there through the month? Anything we can't miss? Thanks!

As of 2 weeks ago the Settlement end of 700, 100 and 1600 (along the road) had pretty massive displays.

I would agree with Brady that if you had to chose I would go to the settlement area near the 3 way stop and the 100 loop. There are 2 massive displays at the end of the 700 loop. There is a rather large one in 1600 as well. If you can rent a cart that would be the best way to see the most you can.

the decorations are starting to be of plenty.. we3 named off a few big ones. they really put up a lot. i would never even try to compete...lol

The people in 1600,700 and 100 will be there through New Years. Your best bang for our buck is 700 and 100. If you are in a full hook up site you can walk 1600 and 1700 every night
