Hearing about how all the pools can get pretty crowded, where is a good place (away from the pools) to grab a chair and just sit, relax, read and enjoy the sun?:smooth:

Deck 7 aft is commonly referred to as Secret Deck 7 because it is not labeled on any plans I've seen. It is a small quiet (no music) deck that is perfect for reading.....just follow the hallway on deck 7 to as far back as you can go. There is a wooden door with a window looking out on it. Perfect!

I agree, deck 7, but get there early. I think word is spreading and it is no longer a secret because when I tried to use it last week there was no more room. I was there about noon.

We used Deck 7 aft a lot, too, on our cruise 3/23. Seldom many people there, and it was a good observation spot for arriving/leaving port. One day, though, the wind was forward to aft and there was a lot of cinder-like debris on the deck chairs.

Our cabin will be on Deck 7 for our next cruise and I'm looking forward to our "secret" spot...

I believe I read that they lock that deck off at night...does anyone know what time?? my room is right next to that deck and I would hate to have people hanging out there or smoking out there all evening and night long....

Yes, they do lock it. There are times posted on a sign next to the door. I think it said it was locked from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am (or something close to that).

I agree on deck 7 aft...only proble...you're away from most amenities (food, etc.). If that fits, you're in great shape. If not...deck 10. There are plenty of areas on 10 that are less crowded and more quiet. Have fun!

Didn't I read somewhere that there's also a secret deck 8 area (although it's smaller than the one on deck 7)?

deck 8........yeah, they exist on the wonder and magic....but access is questionable. Barb (incognito) was able to get onto it on the wonder. I think she has a picture.....it's extremely small....no chairs. Reports from the magic have said the door was locked and that a CM has even said it is off limits. When I was there in January, the door was securely locked.
