I am new to cruising and I am interested in taking my family of four (DD5 & DS1) on a 3 or 4 day disney cruise. Does anyone have any specific recommendations and whom do you recommend booking my cruise with? Are there any known travel agents with the best deals?

The best tips I have gotten is to book EARLY. Also, time of year makes a HUGE difference. We have always sailed in September (which is hurricane season, so many avoid it). The prices are the cheapest in September. We have been on 6 cruises. Now we are feeling sticker shock because we have to follow a school schedule for now on.

The TA I used is the sponsor of this board: Dreams Unlimited. There is a link at the top of the page.

There is also another online TA many have used called All Seasons Travel:

And there are many others. Try getting a few quotes to see who is the least expensive.

Good Luck!

Call Duane at Cruiseone....This guy does not disappoint....877-280-8796...best service, gets you the docs quick, and he is super experienced..... :earsboy: :mickeybar Booked ALL of my DCL cruises with him, and nobody but nobody beats his prices and service....

I like cruisetraveloutlet.com (Bill is the agent I've used). The biggest hint is indeed to book early. Off season travel is much less expensive than middle of the summer. We really like September as you have the warm weather and the low prices. Yes, you do have the risk of hurricanes.....oh well, there's a downside to everything. However, we've cruised 12 times on the Magic, and this fall was the first time that the cruise was really messed up due to weather. We have had some "magical mystery" cruises where we went to ports other than those scheduled due to weather, but we are totally flexible about this, so the cheaper season more than made up for the schedule changes.
