do any supply a murphy bed. need something with at least 2 doubles and 1 single bed. is it better to get 2 studios vs 1 2 bedroom?

on a second note if you do a split stay; say 3 days at FWV and then a 3day at
BCV what the easiest way to get from one to the other with luggage no car planned

Only a 1-bedroom room at BLT or AKV (Except for Value 1-bedroom) will have an arrangement close to what you are looking for. Those would have a king in the master and a sleep sofa and sleeper chair in the living room. Other than those, you would need 2 studios or a 2-bedroom. Not positive, but I believe they have also added the sleeper chair to OKW as part of the recent room renovations.

As for luggage transfer on a split stay, bell services will transfer your luggage between resorts for you. They don't charge for this service, but if a porter picks up or delivers your bags to your room they will expect a gratuity.

I've not needed this set-up yet, but it's good to know about!!! I just assumed you HAD to get 2 rooms or a 2 bdrm.

Also, the 1 bdrm at AKV Kidani would have an extra bathroom - not sure about BLT. You could also try for THV and have the 3 bedrooms.

BLT will have the extra bath as well (2 baths in a 1-bed, 3 bats in a 2-bed).

The sleeper sofas are not that comfortable for adults. I have adult children and there have been enough complaints that we no longer book rooms unless every adult has a real bed.

OKW villas offer the most space. They have the only studios that will come with 2 beds vs the 1 bed/1 sleeper sofa setup.

If you are not planning to use the kitchen, it will be much cheaper to get 2 rooms over a 2 bedroom villa. When we go adults only, we get studios now and save the bigger units for those trips that include the grandchildren.

Also note that on split stays, your luggage will not arrive at your new resort until late in the afternoon. We usually grab a cab and move our own luggage so that we don't have to wait until 5pm to get our stuff.

OKW does have the chair bed in the living room, since the recent rehab.

Bell Services will transfer your luggage from one resort to the other. Just call them to pick up your luggage, or take your luggage over to the Bell Service desk at the main building and ask them to transfer it to your second resort. Or, if you prefer to take your bags over yourself, you can always take a cab.

Just a side note...there's no FWV. I think you're thinking of the Villas at Wilderness Lodge (VWL), which is a DVC resort located at the Wilderness Lodge. The Fort Wilderness campground (FW), is a completely separate resort from Wilderness Lodge; there's boat service between the two resorts, but otherwise the only thing they share is "Wilderness" in the name. There are no DVC villas at the Fort Wilderness campground.

The OKW two bedroom villa would have two queen beds in the second bedroom, one king bed in the master bedroom and one queen sleeper sofa and one twin sleeper chair in the living room.

The newer sleeper sofa's are much better - no bar! Not sure who has those and who doesn't though.

The sleeper chair is very comfortable too.

The sleeper at BLT was SUPER comfy! I would have no problem sleeping there! The sleeper chair was comfy too!!

You can fit 5 adults in the BLT and non-Value Kidani 1 bedrooms - they both have the new sofabeds I think!

That being said - sometimes its close in points to get the 2 bedroom at OKW instead!!

The sleeper sofa that you find at BCV and BWV is more comfortable. It's more like an interspring mattress. The back flips forward and the cushions stay attached and help support the foot of the bed.

The one you have at SSR and OKW is a thin slab of foam on a platform. Hard. But the sleeper chair is a bit more comfortable.

My 23 year old son liked the sleeper sofa at BWV and BCV too....he did not like the sleeper sofa at BLT :confused3

I have stayed at the 1 bedroom unit in OKW and BLT, both are very spacious.

Though, as someone pointed out, you can probably almost get a 2 bedroom at OKW for the same points as a 1 bedroom at BLT.

OKW has the largest 1 bedroom units, with a sleeper sofa and a sleeper chair (at least in the last room I was in). The units are significantly larger at OKW, but you would still be a little cramped. There is only 1 bath. You would be better off with a 2 bedroom.

They only allow so many adults to a room. If you get a two bedroom than one person can sleep in the pull out in the living room. If you get two studios three people will have to stay in one room.

You may want to consider OKW their rooms are the largest.
