Best DCA and DTD locations to get drinks!

Hello all,

My wife and I are going to DLR for New Years and are looking forward to celebrating with a little of the good stuff as well! I have read some reviews of doing NYE at DCA but was curious if anyone has any places they enjoy going for a glass of wine or a beer? Thanks for the help!

Not exactly in DCA, but go to Trader Sam's at the Disneyland Hotel. Google it, one of the best bars I have ever been in.

I agree Trader Sams is great! I enjoy the tropical ambiance, live hawaiian music and the bartenders are fun. If you order one of there specialty drinks certain things happen inside the bar.

Trader Sam's is quite good.....
However, best drink? Napa Rose. Matt and Ryland have taken mixing to a new level and are the gold standard for drinks with flavor and complexity. Ask for their Aviation or the Bum's Rush.
Though be forewarned, you might have drinks so good that you will be sad to finish them

A different thread made me think about this. Does anyone know if the Wine Country restaurant in DCA offers a wine tasting package similar to the wine walk offered at Epcot? Thanks for the info and BOY does it seem like I'm an alcoholic with all of these drink related questions!
