I know that I read somewhere about the best and worst days to visit each park. Our next trip is going to be longer and I would like to know which parks are usually busier on certain days. We are going Dec 4-12 if that makes a difference.

TIA

perhaps someone can PM you with the info. But, if you want it yourself, go to the Unofficial Guide's homepage. Do you have the Guide? If so, no problem. You can access everything you need. I can't remember if the day-by-day info is in the free area or if you have to have the book to get it.

Just a thought...if you have a laptop you could go to Barnes and Noble and get the info without buying the book. Not that I'm advocating that, lol!

Thanks. I don't mind buying the book I just couldn't remember where to find it. BTW why would someone delete it?

You can get the information for your exact dates from tourguidemike, but you do have to subscribe (he's a sponsor here). ;) I used it, and was happy with the information I got.

Thank you for the reply. I couldn't understand what was so wrong about what I asked...anyway that makes sense. I will check out tourguide mike.

FWIW, I know TourGuideMike is a sponsor, but I think you can get the same info from TouringPlans.com for $10 less.

We used TGM last year, and were 100% satisfied, but we bought TouringPlans this year for our February trip, and I feel as though much of the information is the same.

ETA: That time period is generally quiet, and one of the best times of the year to visit. DH and I were in the world in 07 from Dec. 2-7 and waited maybe 15, 20 minutes tops for all the headline rides, even on 'non-peak' days.

Hey we were there that same time as you last year..Dec 2-8. Everything was great until the 7th when all the middle school kids rushed Epcot. Most of them were with an adult and very nice but there were many w/o adult supervision and they went nuts.

It is against Disboard rules to post specific information, such as crowd calender numbers or best/worst days from paid subscription sites like touringplans.com and Tour Guide Mike.

I never knew I was asking information from a paid site. I read the best/worst days in a book. I never went to the website so I never knew it was there. People ask things from books all the time and I was just asking if anyone knew which place I could find it.

Generally, parks are more crowded on early entry days. Not a big deal if you can get up early, but don't show up at 10:00 for a park that has been open since 8:00 - go somewhere else that day. Depending on the opening time, we sometimes intentionally pick an early-entry park, and we sometimes intentionally avoid them. It depends whether or not I think I can get my family there by rope drop.

If a park has evening EMH, it is generally more crowded that afternoon and evening and LESS crowded the following morning. I think the rationale is that if you were at MK until 2 am, you're not likely to get up at 7 to be there by 8:00.

MK also tends to be more crowded on weekends since locals come to see the decorations, parades, etc.

Another consideration is if the Christmas parade is being taped at MK. It is generally taped for a three day period (or so) the first weekend of December. From what I understand from reading the boards, Main Street at MK is virtually at a standstill on those days. Those dates are generally posted in the Theme Parks forum once they are announced.

Hope this helps!
