Best Days of the Week to Visit Water Parks?

What day of the week do most of you find it best to visit the water parks during the summer? Any other ideas about when to visit Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach during this time of year will be greatly appreciated.

The general rule of thumb is to NOT go on the weekend. As for what day of the week, I'm not sure there is enough data to know for sure. Probably Wednesday.

More important, I think, is time of day. This time if year, it is hot all day. I would go at opening (9am) and if you can, be done by a little after lunch time. Like the regular theme parks, the water parks get busy in the afternoon. At least that has what I have read from the Unofficial Guide, and what I have seen going to Typhoon Lagoon this last late June.

Thursday is the busiest day of the week for water parks. Weekends are the slowest.

Don't take my word for it. Scroll through the list of water park closures due to capacity at WDWMagic.com. The vast majority (if not all) of the closures are on weekdays.

I, too, read that week-ends are the time to go. I read that locals do not go to the water parks on the week-ends. Think about it, most people arrive on Sunday or Saturday and the first item on most people's lists are theme parks. I'm pretty sure I read this in my unofficial guide.

I'm going on a Tuesday with a crowd level of 10 and a Saturday with a crowd level of 6. Both days, I expect to be out of there by 2-3pm. I plan on spending most of my time in the lazy river enjoying myself as we just float through the hours of the day.

hmmm interesting then I guess I don't need to change my plans, I thought I'd need to switch things around, but I have my water park days set for Sunday and Friday
