Best days for which parks?

I'm new to the disc. boards here but appreciate all the info! We are getting ready for a trip to WDW during Thanksgiving week and was just wondering which days are best for which parks as far as crowd levels go. We are staying offsite and may also pop into universal studios for a day. Any suggestions?

I don't think you can schedule a trip like this. Go where you want to go. It's not like MK is more crowded on a Monday than any other day.... a book may say that, but they don't know for sure. They may have done a study but that could have been on an EE day or at a park that didn't have a new thrill ride added..... So many factors go into the crowds that it is hard to determine it by demographics.

We just go where we want and that makes us happy. Crowded or not.

I am not a US person. I'm not impressed with US. IOA is ok (but feels more like Six Flags) and US has some tired rides. I am definitely a WDW person.

My DH and DS go to US and they enjoy themselves. Although, it is a rip off to pay $100 (entry and fast pass) per person. We even had an employee discount on the entry ticket.

So, for my $100, I went to 3 WDW parks that day and bought some nice disney souvies for the family.

The Unoffical Guide has a "Best Days" portion of their web site (hopefully the link above gets posted. If not, google "touringplans best days" and it is the first link). Not only does it tell you, in general, the best days, it also tells you for each specific day where to go. It gives a full explanation of how they come up with it and what the limitations are. There are obviously many factors as the previous poster stated but they do a pretty scientific job with their research. We have used there advice many times and it hasn't been wrong yet.
