Best days for spring break?

I am trying to decide the best days for a two day trip during spring break. We are local-ish AP holders (deluxe) and my kids are on spring break March 17-April 1. I would prefer to go the first week of break, and because we drive and just stay one overnight I’d also love to arrive on a Sunday, to avoid the morning rush hour traffic. Hotels are cheaper during the week, though.

What would you do? Staying longer isn’t really an option since we go fairly
often. Thanks

Just a guess but I’d think the first week, as it’s farther from the actual day of Easter. We are Nor-cal and my kids don’t get out till March 26. We also only get 1 week tho. I know a lot of schools get 2 weeks for Easter.

Is Easter Sunday an option? That may be the best day to go over that period.

There were many comments recently on how slow it was last year on Easter Sunday. However it was mid April last year and not right in the middle of spring break like this year, so I’d not base my decision on his things played out last year.

It will likely be busy both weeks, I would just try to time it to go when lower passes are blocked as well as the SoCal tickets. Out of those days just pick ones that work best for you.

Unfortunately we can’t go Easter Sunday. Good point on the SoCal tickets - I had thought about the lower passes but not those.

Are weekdays likely to be less crowded that weekends (or vice versa) or does that probably not matter since it’s a school break?

We can handle crowds, but obviously less is more in this case still

We are in norcal also but our spring break for elementary and high school is is the second week of April. While most colleges are out either the 3rd or 4th week of march. I would choose to go during the the 17th.

Starting next Monday (3/12) Disney posts full hours seven days a week (8am to midnight), so I imagine they are expecting crowds. I feel like "spring break" is always 4-5 weeks with all the overlapping different breaks at various schools.
