"Best Day to Visit" is different depending on what site you visit

I checked 3 web pages looking for recommendations on best days to visit a particular park. There were opposing opinions for some of the days. Do you have a favorite site that seems reliable (as far as these things are able to be reliable)?

Yours is one of THE most-asked questions.
They are all educated guesses.

You'll get more mixed answers if the discussion goes on very long.
Best to just choose one site and/or predictor and stay with that for your entire trip.

I put the Undercover Tourist app on my phone. Every day I look at the different wait times at the parks and plan my trip by hoping the people tend to keep visiting the parks the same way. Some days they surprise me. Most days they surprised me. The people don't go to the park they did the last week. Still I try....

My trip is in June and crowd levels are expected to be "8" that week, so I wonder if it really matters which park, they'll all be really busy!

I'm not expert but I find touring plans to be good, and easy to follow. But, of you use all three sites why not just go with an average? Two sites say MK will be crowded on September 8th, while the third says MK will be empty September 8th, I'd assume that 2/3 would be a better choice. What kind of discrepancies are you seeing?

That's what I was thinking too. During busy seasons, I don't really think it matters. Everything seems to be 8s and 9s, so choosing one over the other is kind of like picking the lesser evil. :hyper:

For instance, on June 12th (a Thursday), Hollywood Studios is:

site 1: not recommended
site 2: most recommended
site 3: recommended

I would go with the two that recommended except, site 1 seems more reputable. Too many variables to consider will drive a person bonkers:rotfl:

I would also find out a little more about HOW the sites pick those days -- what criteria they use. They each use different methods. For example, if you plan to only go to a park for the morning, you'd want to know if a site picks that day as "best" because you can do everything and see all of the evening entertainment.

The best advice for any day, busy or not, is to go early and have a plan!

Ugh! That is super annoying. In that case pick the one you find most reputable and stick to it. Usually I'll look at past years as well but with SDMT opening and the new FP+ system that strategy may not be helpful this year.
