We have our DVC reservations ready, and we will be visiting Orlando from October 6th to October 14th.

The 7th thru the 13th are all park days for us, we only skip parks the day we arrive and the day we leave. Usually when we visit we arrive on a Friday or Saturday, then we return on a Sunday. This year I decided to change it up a bit, mostly due to Epic opening. Unfortunately, as much as I would want to go mid September, my wife's and daughters schedule doe snot allow it, so we always travel the first or second week of October.

I don't know if I should take this with a grain of salt, but I have read a few articles that say the best park days are usually Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for the least amount of crowds. Because of this reason we are thinking of Doing Epic Universe on Wednesday. Like i said not sure if this is accurate or not, usually when we go in October it's not super crowded but it is crowded. We will be getting tickets for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween, and I've read usually days of the Party that Epcot is a bit less crowded, and that the days of no party Magic Kingdom is more crowded. So, before taking any advise this would have been my plan.

(Edit after suggestions)
Tuesday 10/7 Epic Universe
Wednesday 10/8 Hollywood Studios
Thursday 10/9 Epcot
Friday 10/10 Magic Kingdom MNSSHP
Saturday 10/11 Animal Kingdom
Sunday 10/12 and Monday 10/13 Park Hopping between Universal and Five Islands

I will be getting LLMP and Express at Universal to minimize waits as well. I'll be very grateful for any advise anyone can provide.

I don’t know what days of the week are recommended for each park. The thing that stood out to me in your itinerary was doing Epic the day after MNSSHP. Since you will only have one day at Epic I would assume you want to make the most of it. I would personally not want to stay out late at the party and then plan on a long, busy day at Epic.

I had actually not considered this, and you're right. I need to rethink those days. But, this i s why this is already turning out to be a good idea of me to ask for others opinion.

The middle of the week is always the slowest at any of the parks for obvious reasons. And the busiest park is MK, so doing that on Tuesday is a good plan. I haven't been to Epic Universe yet but I'd imagine being as it's new it will be busy so the same logic applies and Wednesday seems smart there though Rory607 makes a good point concerning the late party. maybe consider flipping Tuesday and Wednesday? Both tend to be smaller crowd days. Saturday will likely be the busiest of crowd days. I Personally would do AK on Saturday and your park hopping Sunday and Monday.

Of course this is my opinion and there are a lot of other much more experienced park goers here, so take it with a grain of salt.

And, October used to be the best month but now can be fairly busy.

See bolded. Days that the MK has the MNSSHP tend to make the other parks more crowded because people don't want to go to the MK when it closes at 6pm. So Epcot will be a little more crowded, not less. But since it is such a large park, I don't think it will be all that noticeable. Party days at the MK are always the least crowded, so if you have another MK day planned, it's a great day to go. Just try and get everything done by about 4pm because once they let the party guests in at 4pm, it gets very crowded until park close.

I just realized my mistake, I meant to put Epcot on a non party day so tat its less crowded. I edited the main post but based on everyone's recommendation this is what i have now.

I would do:
Tuesday 10/7 Magic Kingdom MNSSHP
Wednesday 10/8 Epcot (can sleep in & get a later start, lighter F&W crowds)
Thursday 10/9 Epic
Friday 10/10 Hollywood Studios (should be lighter crowds with Friday nights of parties & Epcot's F&W)
Saturday 10/11 Animal Kingdom (good advantage here with everyone partying the night before with Epcot's F&W, MNSSHP, & Universal Halloween Horror Nights)
Sunday 10/12 & Monday 10/13 Park hooping between Universal and Five Islands

I actually like this Idea very much, as it's very close to what my original plan was. My only worry is that Epic may be more crowded the closer we get to the weekend. The unknowns with Epic are still very confusing as the park has not technically opened yet lol

Just to be correct, there are five lands in Epic Universe, there are 8 "islands" in Islands of Adventure, which is easy to hop between that and Universal Studios....I'm assuming you mean IOA, but if not, I have missed out on a LOT.......

There's barely anything to see at Island of adventure right now because of al the refurbishment going on. There's only one ride in Dr Seuss that my daughters like, there's nothing really at the lost continent right now. Toon Lagoon is mostly in constructions, so there's theres only Harry Potter, Jurassic Park River Ride, Velocicoaster, King Kong, Spiderman I believe its closed and the Hulk Rollercoaster.

Taking the Hogwarts express from IOA and Universal is pretty easy. So, last year when we went we pretty much rode the rides we like multiple times. But Universal was much less crowded than Disney. Something tells me this year maybe the other way but we'll see.
