Best day to go 12/28-1/4

In the area right now. I know the crowds are hellish this time of year, but would it be worth going to USF, maybe New Years day or the day after? Do the crowds die down a bit then?

After New Years the crowds die off. I would say going after New Years would be the time to go on your trip.

You can go now, but the lines are long, and NYE will be a mad house.

I'd go on Friday the 3rd. Most of the crowds from up north should be back on the road and the lines should be almost back to normal. I think that Sat is going to be a little bit crowded due to most of the Central FL kids go back to school either Mon or Tues next week.
