Best day to fly around X-mas

Our ressies at SSR will be done on Dec 24th but I'm getting worried about flying Christmas Eve. We returned home on the 22nd in 2004 but are arriving later and staying longer this year. I am considering adding a night(or 2) at a value resort(All Star Movies is my fav) if it will be cheaper to fly home on the 25th or 26th. We are AP holders so the additional days won't 'cost' us anything in terms of park admissions, just the lodging and food. Thanks for any tips from people who have done this. I can't look up airfares online until the end of next week due to their 11 month booking window.

I would fly home on the 25th. Christmas is on Sunday this year, and I'll bet Dec 26th will be an insane day to fly!

dollars to doughnuts says the 25th will have much cheaper tickets. Fewer people want to fly on "the special day."
