Best day of the week?

We are only planning one day to visit IOA, mostly to see the WWOHP. Is there any day of the week that usually has lower crowds? If it helps we will be there mid to late August. Thanks!

There's really no way to tell...the crowds have been in force most days of the week. But if you can go mid-week it would probably be the best to keep the crowds down.

Metro is completely correct in that there is no way to tell.

However, there have been a number of reports on here that Sunday tends to be the least crowded day of the week. These are anecdotal, so I don't know how much stock you want to put on that.

So I would say that mid-week (Tue-Thu) or Sunday, in that order, would be your best choices. Stay away from Fridays and Saturdays in particular at any time of year.

Not to highjack the thread but what's your thoughts on Mondays? Last year we went on Wednesday and Thursday (pre HP and first week in May)..had NO crowds This year is March..i'm thinking Monday the 14th? Or should we stick with a Wed/Thurs?
