Best Day of the week for a daytrip to DLP?

My DH and I are spending a little over two weeks in Europe this upcoming May/June. We will be spending 6 days in Paris and would like to take a daytrip to DLP. We are frequent WDW visitors and know that at WDW there are certain days of the week that are more crowded than others. Does DLP have a day that is generally less or more crowded than the other days? We tentatively have our DLP day pencilled in as Thursday, June 5.

Any other suggestions for daytrip visitors? When we go to WDW we stay on site and spend 4-7 days so we are not usually daytrip visitors. If we are only able to visit one of the two parks, is one park more of a "must see" for US visitors than the other? If so, which one?

Thanks.
Mary

I believe I've read that Tuesday is the least busy day, and obviously weekends are the busiest.

The other thing to be aware of is that a lot of children in France dont go to school on Wednesdays so this can often be a busier day for locals doing day visits

That's interesting about Wednesdays.

I was thinking Tuesday would be a busy day at DLP for tourists to daytrip, since isn't the Louvre and other museums closed on Tuesdays? We are probably going to take a "wine tour" to the countryside on Tuesday but we could swap that with Thursday if Tues is a better day at DLP.

Thanks.

Thursday 5th June will not likely be a busy day in DLRP. Its not the weekend, its the week after the half term school holidays in England, there are no European or French school holidays that week, and its "low" season for Disney. Its as good a day as any other weekday that week to visit DLRP.

If you only have time to do one park, I'd say stick with the main Disneyland Park, and forget about the Studios. Don't get me wrong, I love the Studios, but if time is short, the "magic" in the theming etc is mostly in the main park, in my opinion.

We'll just miss you I think - we're planning on being there 2nd to 4th June :goodvibes .

OP you'll be fine on a Thursday. If you are staying away from the weekends you should manage to ge a lot done.

I'd concur with Elaine while the Studios now has a lot to offer the Disneyland Paris still has all the sparkles :goodvibes

They dont go school on Wednesdays???

They usually have half a day at school on Wednesdays & then they go on Saturday morning to make up for this;)

We have a private schools in the UK where they do the full week & have to go in Saturday mornings, however they get nice long holidays to make up for it.

OP I would say any day during the week except Fridays would be fine.
