Best day for Water Parks

I've seen all the information on which days are best to visit the 4 parks, but does anyone know which days are best to visit the Water Parks? I'm planning on Typhoon Lagoon if it makes a difference.

I heard July/Aug are always packed.

In the summer, either get to the WP's early to grab a good seat and for shorter lines. Around 2-3, they start clearing out and that is a good time to go too. I'm not sure about cloudy vs. sunny days but after a thunderstorm has thinned out the crowds is a good time too.

I will watch this thread. Even though we think we know how we want to do our waterparks (it is all arranged around best days for other parks) any info on better water park days will be taken into consideration!! Great topic!!

I thought I read somewhere that Fridays were the best days for the Waterparks, but now I can't find that information. And, I have no idea why Fridays would be the best either......

I should have book marked that information when I read it! Darn!!!!

Weekdays, the nearer to the beginning of the week the better. Later in the week, TL attracts the people who typically spend the beginning of the week at the major parks. Local residents tend to keep things busy on the weekends.

There are two good times to arrive: Shortly before the park opens and -- in the warmer months when the park is open at night -- mid- to late afternoon. If you want to go for the morning/early afternoon, it is essential to arrive by park opening time, particularly in the warmer months.

Thanks for the link Marriedmarylander! I guess it makes sense that most people arrive on the weekend & take in the 4 parks first. Then, head to the water parks toward the end of the week.

I think I'll try to be a little different (providing the weather cooperates)!!!
