Best Day for MVMCP?

We are so excited for our WDW vacation December 17-24. We would like to attend MVMCP on either December 18 (Sunday) or 22 (Thursday). I know those will be the busiest days and will likely sell out. Which day would you recommend? Any touring tips for MVMCP are appreciated.

Hi ajenks22! I can't say which day is better, although perhaps Sunday, because the closer it gets to Christmas, the busier it gets, although having said that, perhaps not Sunday, because it may be more crowded with locals. Try sites like Undercover Tourist maybe? They have crowd calendars.

My advice, learned the hard way, is to enter the park by 3 or 4 and eat an early dinner if you are doing anything besides counter service so that you don't end up "wasting" party time.

You will love the parks at Christmas! We always go in December, we love it then! Have fun!

Thanks CaliTex. We are traveling with another family and two grandparents who might not have a lot of "park stamina". I thought MVMCP might be a good choice for the grandparents who want to experience MK with their grandchild, but don't want to invest in multiday tickets. What do you think?
