I am trying to decide between going on a Sunday or a Tuesday. I realize that Tuesday would most likely be the better choice but Sunday works better in our schedule (although we can make Tuesday work)...any idea if there would be a significant difference in the crowds between the two nights?

We did a Sunday party on November 16th last year and it was AWESOME! It never felt crowded (except for Main St and the hub of course), and after the first parade and Holiday Wishes, the park felt empty! It was the only time during our trip where we felt like we had the park all to ourselves! It was the highlight of the week, mainly due to no crowds. I walked on all of my favorite rides over and over.. and the waits for characters were almost non-existent. I would do a Sunday party again, but with my dates this year, I opted for the Thursday party.

Is the wait for Anna and Elsa also almost non existent during the party?! I'm banking on not getting fps and trying to figure out when to go for that. Can you walk on things like space mountain, 7dmt?

A&E was 30 minutes that night (that is great considering what it can be on a regular day), 7DMT was also 30 minutes and that was the highest wait time I saw of the night for a ride. I walked on Space Mountain and rode it probably 10 times, just walking right back on after riding over and over.. and the same with Big Thunder and Splash Mountain. Pirates was also a walk-on. I stayed until the party ended at midnight... the later it got, the more empty the park was. This party was not a sold out party, so if you go on a night when the party is sold out the lines could be a little longer for things.

Which Sunday and Tuesday are you considering? Early November or mid-December or the Sunday before Thanksgiving? I think those factors make a bigger difference than just the day of the week, to a certain point.

Thinking of booking Dec 17th. What do you guys think?

That's the day we are thinking of going. I'd go to the Sunday party but that's the day we get there and I figure I'll be too exhausted to full enjoy it.

I agree! The later parties that are closer to the end of the stretch in Dec are going to be more crowded, no matter what day of the week it is. I think the last MVMCP this year is 12/18 - is that right?

Actually based on our plans I think we are going on Sunday instead
