Best day for Knotts

My daughter and I will be in Anaheim from Jan 4 - 12. We will be spending our days at DLR, but want to spend one day at Knotts. She likes the big rides. I will be observing .

I was thinking of Knotts on Sat Jan 10, trying to miss a busy weekend day at DL, but I don't know how busy Knotts is on the weekends. I went there on a weekday in November a couple years ago with my son, and everything was a walk on. It was great. I don't really need it to be that empty, but don't want to spend a lot of time in lines since it will just be her waiting for most of the rides. The days we could go would be Weds, Fri or Sat.

I'm hoping its a slow time of the year, but just don't know if locals make Knotts a lot more crowded on the weekend. Any experience?

JMHO from a few visits to Knotts. Knotts seems less crowded on Sunday than on saturday. Don't know why. FWIW I only go once a year in Nov. when as a veteran I get a free admission.

Some DISers swear that DLR is less crowded on Saturday since both the SoCal APs are blacked out that day.
