Ok, so I have Capt. Cooks q's for all of you... first, what exactly is the "grown up grilled cheese"? second, I would like to try tonga toast since everyone raves about it but I don't like bananas. I love banana bread but I don't like to sit down and eat a huge fresh banana. Do you think I would like the tonga toast? Thanks!
We will be staying at the GF and I read that you can walk to the Poly so I may do that and try the Tonga Toast. I was reading the menu and it said Aloha pork sandwich. Is that like a BBQ pork sandwich or is it a different sauce? It also said it comes with poly chips. Can someone tell me if these are like potato chips or are they different in some way? Thanks,
I'd hop the boat from the marina to the Poly since it goes there first before heading to MK. Then walk back if you're planning a pool day since the path passes the GF beach pool.

Just try the Tonga Toast, it's hard to describe it. Just make sure to try it first without syrup as it's so sweet you might find you might not need it.
I believe the grilled cheese has bleu cheese on it to make it "adult".
I've heard the house made chips and chicken lo mein at Capt Cooks is very good too.
Have to say that the GF CS is good for it's guests, the food is not bad and they have a nice selection. It's just not something to go out of the way for. The menu has typical burgers, chicken sandwiches and pizza.

I can't believe that there is actually someone else other than me like this! I don't like bananas, but love banana bread. I don't mind the banana flavor I guess. I keep thinking about trying the Tonga Toast as well, but shyed away when I found out it had bananas in it. The picture someone posted looks good, except for the chunks. Of course, big chunks would be easy to pick out too. I also like banana pudding, but I eat around the banana slices...

I don't like bananas, but I did try the tonga toast and it was nice (not amazing, I prefer the french toast at Crystal Palace - yum!!), but i'd eat it again as I prefer sweet things for breakfast!!
Because the banana is heated it didn't really seem like banana - and the texture was different (which is my main problem with bananas anyway!!)
