Best CS breakfast options in MK & AK that have protein?

My 3-y-old officially has no interest in eating breakfast. So, I'm not torturing myself this trip and dragging him to the food court every morning. (Not planning to starve him; I'm just going to give him a granola bar or baggie of cereal when we get in the car each morning or when I strap him into his stroller. ;) ) My plan is to eat a quick service breakfast while walking through the park, but I don't know who has the best breakfast options in MK & AK anymore (other than Sleepy Hallow). Plus, my MIL will want something with a protein (egg, meat, etc.), which means she'll want more than just a cinnamon roll or pastry item. Any suggestions?

If MIL is going to want a "real" breakfast, I think your best bet is to eat in the food court in the morning. If you don't want to take your son, maybe MIL can go eat while you finish getting him ready or something. Eating in the parks is going to take away good touring time, and a quick glance through the menu lists on allears shows that not too many CS places in the parks offer breakfast aside from the bakery/Starbucks places.

Yak & Yeti in AK does have a breakfast menu with sandwiches and things, but that is not near the front of the park, and your plans may not take you close to it early in the morning.

Thanks for the suggestions! I didn't realize Y&Y's CS now has breakfast & that menu looks perfect for us. If the lines at Starbucks aren't too bad, we'll definitely give that a try also. :)

This is his 5th trip and the only one that I haven't planned a single TS meal or breakfast. (I might make one ADR at Garden Grove only because we're staying at the Boardwalk, it's a buffet that I can set his pace for, and we won't get penalized for canceling it on the same day.) In the past, we would take him to signature restaurants and he was an angel. He would chow down, flirt with the staff, & patiently look around the room, but his 3.5-y-o attention span is no longer interested in eating. On the bright side, I'm saving a ton of money by not getting the dining plan this time around & I"m looking forward to revisiting CS places that I haven't been to in years. This new season of life sure is a fun one. Thanks again!

Kusafiri Coffee Shop in AK has a yummy breakfast wrap! The line normally looks long but moves very quickly. That's our go-to spot for a quick bite when we get off of Safari first thing in the morning!

You might also consider stopping at the resort food court ahead of time (night before) and buying a few food options that include protein, and then just keep them in your room fridge for the morning. We usually stay at Pop, and you can easily purchase yogurt, hard cooked eggs, pbj sandwiches, other sandwiches (if are okay with eating non breakfast food), milk, string cheese, etc.

I second Starbucks.

BoG has a bunch of egg options (but of course you need an ADR).

Sleepy Hollow has a breakfast waffle that includes egg, cheese, sausage, and tomatoes.

There may be others, but I sure can't think of them! I usually end up eating at the resort QS (breakfast is usually my most solid meal of the day at WDW.)

Does anyone know if the Starbucks in the parks have the sous vide egg bites? I'm slightly addicted to those babies!!

I like to eat in our room before we head to the parks. I like to pack protein powder in my suitcase along with my little hand held blender. You can always pick up a banana in the food court the night before and add it.
