We'll be at DHS in a few weeks and I'm trying to figure out where we should have lunch. We're doing 50's PTC for dinner, so we'll do a CS for lunch. We had the Toy Story pizza last time and it wasn't terrible but wasn't that great, either. Are there any better options? I never seem to hear anything good about the DHS CS locations.

Thanks!

I never seem to hear anything good about the DHS CS locations.

Because there aren't any :rotfl:

We usually do breakfast at H&V then lunch at 50sPT or Sci-Fi. We hit Pizza Planet for my DS2 each trip since he naps thru our TS lunch.

There's the ABC Commissary, Rosies and Backlot Express. There's one more that I can't think of the name behind the HISTK Playground.

You could always grab a pretzel, hotdog or turkey leg to hold you over.

Call me crazy but I loved Hollywood and Vine.

I know it's not counter serve, but the food was hot and fresh, and very tasty.

Moist Turkey and Roast....

2 thumbs up.

We really enjoy ABC Commissary. I love their Cuban sandwich with the plantain chips (its a lot like a pannini rather than a cold Cuban sandwich) and I also enjoy the Asian salad. My husband likes the curry bowl. Its nice and cool in there, has lots of seating and we have eaten there the past several trips and stick with that now.

Oohh, last time we were at ABC Commissary I got the cuban sandwich which was good but it wasn't a good mix with morning sickness

We usually eat at Backlot Express...not sure why but that's just where we gravitate too when at DHS. I think we will have to try the ABC Com again this next trip.

Backlot Express is probably the best DHS has in our opinion...it's never too crowded either; it's kind of out of the way.

There aren't that many good ones in DHS... We just go to Pizza Planet and grab a personal sized pizza or salad. It's also an arcade.

You can try Backlot Express or ABC Commisary.

We like Backlot Express. They have very good sandwiches. And as another poster said, it doesn't seem to be crowded.

There's a place right by tower of terror and rocking roller coaster and its a counter service thats in the back they have chicken fingers, fries, burgers, and turkey legs im sure theres more food but thats what we always get so I can't remember the rest :thumbsup2 but go to allears.net they will have menus for everything! :flower3:
