Best Cross-body bag

I am trying the Baggallini Neighborhood Messenger bag right now, but I think it's too big. It definitely fits the ipad, sippy, diapers and purse stuff, but it just feels too big by an inch or so all the way around. I might return it and try the Kipling Luggage Alvar or the Baggallini City.

I need to be able to carry this to work, so I need something a bit more dressy than the fabrics that come with the 31 Vary You bag. That's one thing I liked about the skirt purses from 31. You could get a bit more sophisticated look. But the Vary You bags are too casual since they all have that quilted look.

Keep the suggestions coming though! I'm still in search mode!

If you think that the Neighborhood is just a bit too big and want something just a small bit smaller then take a look at the Baggallini Big Sydney. I have both the Neighborhood and the Big Sydney. The neighborhood will be my travel bag and the Big Sydney my park bag. The Big Syndey will fit my camera, dipers, wipes and a change of clothes of DD for the day. The Big Sydney is just a small big smaller than the Neighborhood but its enough that it makes it more usable for a day bag... a big day bag but then again I need something a big bigger to hold DDs stuff for the day. I will try to post a pic of the two of them side by side tonight.

Thank you, I'd appreciate that. Yes, I think the neighborhood bag would be great as a vacation bag/carry on bag. But it's just a little too big as an every day bag even when it needs to be doing dual duty as purse/diaper bag. I felt like there was so much extra room that I would be too tempted to keep adding to it and then never empty the thing out.

I have the Women's Agility Sling bag from REI, and absolutely love it! I have been using it as my diaper bag/purse for almost a year now, and think it will perfectly in the parks when we go in January.
