Best Counter Services

In your opinion what are the best counter service restaurants in the Disney resort complex? Not concerned about cost of the counter service as we have the Deluxe dining pan. More concerned with taste.

We haven't found a MK favorite yet.
Epcot - we love Biergarten in Germany! And, the patisserie in France. Lots of good choices there, too, that we haven't even tried yet.
DHS - we love Starring Rolls, but we've only ever had the Butterfinger Cupcakes. YUM.
AK - Flame Tree BBQ, hands down. Our favorite CS in the park.

Just got back, heres the best we found.

PORR, Create your own Pasta. VERY good, out #1 choice.
CS, PepperMarket, great food, lots of choices. Good DDP value.
EP, Seasons, something for everyone.

All above are indoors so great when weather is hot, humid or raining.

DTD, Wolfgang Express is also excellent!
EP, Marakesh is excellent but not for everyones tastes

I do not understand the appeal of AK's Flame Tree BBQ. Tastes like baked chicken with some BBQ sauce poured on it rather than true smoked slow roasted.

We also enjoyed the long boat ride up the river from DTD to PORR. This is the longest water taxi anywhere in WDW with the only stops being POFQ and then PORR.


DHS, ABC Commissary had horrible stale dried out burgers.

MK: Columbia Harbour House - I could eat that Fried Shrimp Plate and Apple Pie thingy every day.
Epcot: Sunshine Season for variety. Tangierine Cafe for the schwarma combo plate.
AK: Flame Tree is our favorite but I had the BEST Antipasto Salad at Pizzafari in Aug. DH loved the Hot Italian Sandwich as well.
DHS: We actually had a pretty decent lunch at Backlot Express. Not fabulous, but decent.
DTD: Wolfgang Puck Express.

We really enjoy the corndogs at the station outside of Boardwalk. The pizza at the old Spoodles carry out window was good too. But I don't know if it's still there.

We stay at POR & absolutely love, love, love the food court! Create your own pasta station is fantabulous!! We often eat a late lunch back at the resort instead of eating in the parks.

Honorable mention goes to Columbia Harbor House as best CS in the MK. There are no good CS places in DHS.

We enjoy Columbia Harbour House & El Pirata y Perico at MK, Sunshine Seasons and the fish & Chip place (UK) at Epcot, Yak & Yeti CS at AK, Pizza Planet at DHS (I hear tons of bad reviews, but we really enjoyed it), Earl of Sandwich and WPE at DTD.
