Best Counter Services at MK

We were at Cosmic Ray's on October 23rd for the MNSSHP looking specifically for ribs chicken and mashed potatoes and they were no longer on the menu.

Here we go again (not picking on you, but good stuff missing from menus all of a sudden)

I hope you are mistaken, if you get in the wrong line you will not see chicken and ribs on the menu. Its a really weird setup. One line has burgers, one line chicken.

I was there a few days before that and had the chicken and ribs combo.

Can anyone else verify if this is still on the menu?

We always go to Pico Bills and the pulled pork sandwich is pretty good.

Another vote for Columbia Harbor House and Cosmic Rays!
A word of warning though - check the Times Guide for the restaurant hours. One time we headed to Columbia Harbor House at 6:30 and it was already closed (park closed at 10pm that night). That was annoying - I mean, isn't 6:30 pretty much prime time for dinner?
And in Sept. we went to Ray's for the faboo potato chips one early evening and that bay was closed, even though the restaurant was listed as open until park closing that night. The other two bays were open, though.

Cosmic Ray's was really good and had nice variety. Pecos Bills was excellent if you are looking for a burger. Both were good for different reasons, but I would do either again.

My vote is Cosmic Rays...the best variety and value CS at MK.!

Earlier PP scared me...so I checked allearsnet...and yes - RIb/Chicken plate with mashed potato and seasonal veggie is STILL on the menu...

Even my (cheap) DH said this CS was more like a TS in value of amount of food....

Plus there's the great entertainment!

I can understand why some Mom's find the choices cumbersome...but we went with Teens...and all ran to different stations to get their choices....and we met up at a table...everyone got what they wanted ...and we got our money's worth....

I love Pinnochio's and Cosmic Ray's. Pinnochio's has really good salad, and Cosmic Ray's has a good variety of selections.

Columbia Harbour House has really nice sandwiches.
Breakfast at main Street bakery is always good, they also have nice sandwiches for lunch.
Cosmic Rays is also good.

Before you do Casey’s look into the recent changes. People are not happy with the new healthy roles and the new "mystery" meat hotdogs. (they got rid of the 100% beef)
BTW; Most of the burgers also have this new healthy “falling apart” role.

The new Casey's hot dogs are the most disgusting hot dogs I've ever eaten. It went straight in the trash, even the "family garbage disposal" eater wouldn't eat it.

The Harbour House and Cosmic Rays are both very good.

This last trip being like my 25th trip to the magic kingdom i FINALLY tried columbia harbour house (mostly after recommendations on here!)
I must say it was really yummy. Everyone ordered different things and everyone liked what they got. The chicken and fish combo was a refreshing mix-up to the usual just chicken.
I got the broccoli slaw/hummus sandwich. SOOO yummy and SO different from what you can usually get at a counter service!
Oh- and the service there was wonderful. I felt more like i was at a sit down- the manager walked around checking on everyone- offering extra cups of water and what not. It was just a very nice meal- and I hardly ever remember counter service meal experiences.

I think the best bet for a counter service breakfast is the Main Street Bakery. For lunch or dinner we like Pecos Bill for the great "fixins" bar or Columbia Harbour House for the unusual options like the vegetarian sandwhich or tuna.
