best counter service?

Not sure if you would consider this counter service. There is a little place across from the Earthquake ride (not sure of the name, something "Pastry Company"). They have sandwiches and wonderful desserts. We always stop in for some cheesecake even if we had lunch somewhere else.

I'm interested in this info too. We'll be eating one counter service meal in both parks and we want something that would be quick and cheap. Anymore ideas? Thanks!

There's a counter service in US beside BTTF...I can't think of the name of it--maybe International something. Anyway, we thought they had pretty good food. They have American food such as hamburger/fries, Chinese food, and Italian food such as Pizza. They also have desserts and salads (I think?!).
At IOA, I also like the Comic Strip one. I thought they had good chicken strips.

Thunder Falls & Enchanted Oak in IOA are fab.

In USF, the Boulengearie is good, especially the pastries and sandwiches. Schwabs is good too, especially for ice cream and milkshakes. And don't forget Louie's!

T&S: It's the IFFFFFFFFFFF, er IFFF. International Food and Film Festival.

I like the SanFrancisco Pastry Co. they have really good sandwiches and potato salad. Their desserts looked like slices of heaven on a plate but we were too full to give them a try.

My family likes the footlong hot dogs at the Fire Eater's Grill in IOA. It was in the Lost Continent I think.

We love the Gyros at the Fire Eaters Grille.

my favorite is the Monster Cafe. really good wood fired pizzas & chicken, spaghetti, salads and strawberry shortcake & more. plus you can eat in different themed areas like, dracula, aliens, frankenstein & creature from the black lagoon. they show clips from horror movies on tv screens and the music is good too.

I used to love the chili dogs at Mel's but they have been discontinued? Wimpy's doesn't serve chili dogs anymore either. Where can I get a good chili dog? I don't feel comfortable in the park until I get a nice big chili stain on my shirt!

Wimpy's still serves a chili dog, they have also added chili-cheese fries, and a new chicken finger wrap to the menu.

We loved the Enchanted Oak Tavern in IOA. Good, plentiful food and attractive surroundings.

If you go to Mel's avoid the chicken sandwich. It was awful.
