This was one of fav CS meals during my last Dec 05 trip and definitely plan on going back in Sept 06.

Chicken Wrap with couscous and lentil salad. I had never had lentils or couscous prior to Tangerine Cafe, but loved it.

Next time we go I think we will snack around the world for lunch, a little somthing from everywhere. If your were going to snack around the world what would you get at each country?

I tried this the last time and got too full too quick. I traveled the world from Mexico to Canada and made stops at Norway (candied pretzels covered in almonds...didn't like it) Lotus Blossom Cafe (eggrolls...standard) Tangerine Cafe (see above post) and lastly France (choc crossiant...delicious as always....you can always tell a place is good by the looooong line...I wasn't hungry at this point, but figured what the heck...I'm in France! French women don't get fat, right?)

Can't wait for my first Food & Wine Festival in Sept 06!!!!!

definitely Boulangerie Patisserie in France!!! The mexican is really good too! And I can have it with a Margharitta this year too since I will be turning 21 whilst over there!! :)

Cantina de San Angel gets my vote - quick, pretty good, by the lake - overall for counter service not a bad deal.

Some friends and I did something along these lines a few years ago. We took a Chocolate Around the World Tour of World Showcase, sampling one chocolate item from each pavilion. Oooh, Baby! What a day! It sounded innocent and non-filling, but believe me those little treats do add up.

And to keep myself on topic, I voted for the Tangierine Cafe for the Best Counter Service restaurant in World Showcase. The food is delicious and the setting is simply spectacular. I find myself photographing this country more than any place else in all of WDW. Stunning.

I voted Yakotori but it is the only place I have eaten CS in WS, so my vote doesnt really count. DW and kids ate Cantina De San Angel once but werent impressed. She loves San Angel Inn though. I am going to have to give Tangereine a try.

I voted for the pastry shop in France - wonderful. But there are many I have not tried. I plan to try Morroco and Norway in Jan.

I voted for Boulangerie Patisserie in France. I was overwhelmed by thoughts of desserts and their napoleons - delicious! I'm a big fan of the baklava over in Morocco - also delish! I haven't eaten much CS around the World Showcase - just during Food and Wine. I am so anxious for our next trip to try more goodies! :woohoo:

Loved Tangeriene Cafe. We had the chicken platter. It was full of flavor, one of the best meals of the whole trip and the platter was huge. They also had a hamburger on the kid menu which made DD's day!

I voted for France - we had dessert there. We did eat lunch at CS in China. The orange chicken was good - not great. The ice cream was kind of a weird taste - I can't remember what it was called. When we go in Jan. I want to try something from every country. I really wanted to eat in Morocco last yr. but the family was opposed - this time I will eat without them, they can go to McDs ;)

France is first place for us with Norway as a very close second. The food in both places is delish, a good variety for a full meal and a lovely place to sit and enjoy. Shaded and relaxing on a busy day!!

How are the sandwiches in Norway, I think they are turkey, ham and salmon? Also don't they have some kind of bread thay folks rave about? School Bread? I can't remember.

The Boulangerie Patisserie in France is my favorite!! There are many good choices in the World Showcase I think but the mousse and the fruit and cheese plate prove too tempting for one gal............me..

I like all of them. UUMMM....cheese....France. YUM....Beer....UK. Morocco the atmosphere. Norway the breads. World showcase cant be beat. YUMMY. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
