DW, DD, and I are visiting in Feb and have already made reservations for dinner every night.
But we also have these counter service points to use from our dining plan.

I was wondering which places you consider to have the best counter service in each of WDW's 4 main parks?

Thank you for your input, it's appreciated. :thumbsup2

At the MK Peco's Bills is really good

At AK we love Flame Tree BBQ.

We usually eat table service at Epcot and MGM. I personally think ALL the CS at MGM is gross. And at Epcot there's so many great TS restaurants.

At MK - Casey's Hot Dogs was the best counter service we had..

At Epcot - I forget what it was called but it was like a huge cafeteria type thing in the United States section of World Showcase...Good hamburgers...

At MGM - None...We ate pizza....it wasnt very memorable...rather bad..

At Animal Kingdown - Tusker House was very good...nice atmosphere..

Downtown Disney - Earl of Sandwich...I know it is considered sacreligious but we just thought it was ok..nothing special...

MK-Pinocchios Village Haus, now that they have a new menu-Antipasto Salad/no meat and Figaro Fries
AK-Pizzafari, hot Italian sandwich
Epcot-Tangerine Cafe, shwarma Platter
MGM-I don't like any CS, but I love Sci Fi Drive Inn, Rueben Sandwich

I've always thought that Backlot Express at MGM is good, they have some very good sandwiches besides the usual hamburgers.

I agree with the previous poster that The Tusker House at AK is good...I would even go s far to say that the oasted chicken with garlic mashies and green beans is better than what you would find at many neighborhood restaraunts!

My thoughts exactly!

Terri

MK- Casey's hot dogs
Cosmic Rays
the turkey leg stands *YUM*
MGM- Backlot express (WONDERFUL Turkey sandwich)
toy story pizza planet
AK- Flame tree bbq (they have a big plastic cup you can buy for about $7. You can get it refilled with anything throughout the park for $1. They don't advertise this....a very sweet CM told us about it)

Epcot- rose and crown (fish and chips *YUM*)

MK Columbia Harbour House, followed closely by Peco Bill's
AK Tusker House, Great chicken snadwich and nice chicken plate
EC Harry Ramden's Fish and Chips at the Rose and Crown
MGM Not the best CS, but we ate at the Backlot Express and it was better than I anticipated.

I also agree. This place is a sure thing whenever we are in AK. On our last trip we also thought the same meal at Cosmic Rays in MK was outstanding for counter service!

MK-Columbia Harbour House
Epcot-Tangierine cafe
MGM-Studio Catering Co, I also like the turkey sadwich at Backlot Express
AK- Flame Tree or Tusker House

MK = Cosmic Rays (very good combo value on dining plan) followed closely by Pinocchios Village Haus and Columbia Harbour House.

Epcot = Electric Umbrella

MGM = Backlot Express and Toy Story Pizza Planet

AK = Tusker House for the Rotisserie Chicken and Pizzafari for the pizza and the yummy sandwiches.

I like:
Tusker House at AK They have good food for being a CS.
Pinocchio's Village Haus & Cosmic Ray's are both good at MK.
I haven't eaten CS meals at Epcot or MGM.

MAGIC KINGDOM

Columbia Harbour House! Good fun (yummy apple pies), and the dining room upstairs is nice & relaxing.

EPCOT

The only one we tried on our last trip was Seasons which was good (but crowded). This year, I can't wait to try the counter service in France!

MGM

Toy Story Pizza Planet for the atmosphere if you have kids.

ANIMAL KINGDOM

Flame Tree!! Our very favorite counter service in all of Disney World! The open-air seating by the water is wonderful!

DOWNTOWN DISNEY

Earl of Sandwich! Very yummy sandwiches!

Epcot - Harry Ramden's Fish & Chips or The American Pavillion
AK - Tusker House
MGM - ABC Commissary
MK - Casey's
DTD - Wolfgang Puck's Express (we discovered this place on our last trip, their warm BBQ sandwich is to die for and it was the best children's pizza we ever had) we ate here 3 times.

Mk- Pecos Bill, and Cosmic Rays-both good
AK- Flame tree BBQ, Tusker House- BOTH really good
Epcot-Fish and Chips, American pavillion if you want burgers, Lotus Blossom,
Cantina de San Angel, Sunshine Seasons- ALL good
MGM-This park has the worst CS food. We ate at Backlot Express and ABC commisary in Dec and Backlot was edible but not great, ABC was just terrible. My kids just ended up eating the fries. Their burgers were so dry and hard.

We plan to pay out of pocket for a TS lunch (Sci-fi, 50's Primetime) at MGM when we go in Oct and use the CS credits for breakfast that day. That's how bad it was. :)

We liked the food court in The Land at Epcot. Not a lot of choices, but the sandwich we had was good, chips came with the meal (several choices of chips), a bottled drink, and your choice of very good desserts (we had the fruit tart--very good!).

MK-Columbia Harbor House wonderful fish fries and chicken. Nice quite upstairs dining

MGM-never eaten lunch or dinner here but did have breakfast at the ABC commisary awhile back ago

Epcot-Sunshine seasons food fair USED to be wonderful (oh the ribs) but the menu just looks so so now

AK-NEVER BEEN this will be my first time to AK It wasn't open all the times I had been and last time I was too sick to go

MK - Pecos Bill
Epcot - counter service in Mexico and Japan
AK - Pizzafari
MGM - Starring Rolls Bakery
:mickeybar

MK: Columbia Harbor House
Epcot: Tangierine Cafe or Yorkshire Fish House or Boulangerie Patisserie, or Kringla Bakery
Studios: they are all bad, go for the burgers at Sci-Fi instead of CS.
AK: Flame Tree BBQ
DTD: Foodquest inside DQ, or Ghiradelli for an ice cream lunch.
