Best Counter Service in AK

We always eat at Flame Tree BBQ. The seating is outside... and the birds can get annoying (don't feed them and they'll leave you alone), but there's plenty of seats. I would go all the way back, there's always less people. IMO, the bbq is good, large portions, and a favorite for us.

Our vote is also Flame Tree. We didn't have any bird issues, but we did have a nice view.

Does Yak & Yeti have a QS option?? This is confusing me because I can't find anything about it on WDW website but I've seen several food reviews on "Y&Y CS"....what are people talking about? Or are they maybe meaning "Y&Y TS"????

My vote is for Flame Tree BBQ. yumm ho

The Yak and Yeti is both TS & QS. I havn't eaten there, but have heard good things.

Yes, there is a Y&Y Counter Service; I don't know what the official WDW site shows on it, but this site (wdwinfo), allears, and easywdw all have menus/info on it. Sometimes it's referred to as Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes, or Anandapur Local Food Cafes, or some variation thereof.

another flame tree lover here. I once walked in to AK just to go eat at Flame Tree, and didn't do anything else in the park.

1. Tamu Tamu counter service. Turkey & swiss on focaccia, with a half & half milkshake (choc/van)-- makes me drool a little thinking about it.

2. Yak & Yeti counter service. Asian chicken sandwich & frozen lemonade- mmm!

We really like Pizzafari since neither of the kids like BBQ.

Just so you know, the BBQ sauce does not come on the meat - you add that yourself from the topping bar. The chicken is just roasted chicken and the kids menu has a chicken leg and a hot dog. No one in my family likes BBQ except for me and my entire family enjoyed this meal.

I like Yaki and Yeti counter service but I've never tried Flame Tree so I can't compare the two.
