We will be visiting WDW from nov 19 - 28, and I am looking for recommendations for CS restaurants with great vegetarian options. I have hears that Columbia harbor house is good, any other recommendations?

Sunshine Seasons has a number of vegetarian options. I can't vouch for all of them, but the beet and goat cheese salad is surprisingly good.

My husband loved the grilled vegetable sub at Restaurantasaurus and I love the vegetable sandwich at Backlot Express.

Have fun and enjoy.

:)

Please check out the link in my siggie. I did a CS dining review with pictures . DH is a veggie & he found some very yummy things to eat at WDW. His favorite was the veggie tort at Norway. His least favorite was the veg bake at the Contempo Cafe.

Columbia Harbor House has a GREAT hummus sandwich.

I'm not vegetarian, but I still get one of these each trip.

I was going to mention CHH too. We ate there few weeks ago and my mom had the Salmon. It comes with sides of steamed broccoli and couscous. Both are offered as separates sides (a SC on the DDP) and both were pretty tasty. Would have been better if hot, but you know how quickly broccoli cools off!;)

CHH was incredible! That sandwich is just delicious. And they have vegetarian chili which was a weird taste with the sandwich, but delicious anyway.

And we really liked the tofu noodle soup bowl at Sunshine Seasons.

I totally agree with the underlined part. The tofu noodle bowl is my favorite CS meal. I could very happily eat this several times during a trip. Plus the desserts at Sunshine Seasons are so good!

Okay, I'll be the weird vegetarian who isn't a fan of the hummus sandwich from CHH. I've had it twice. The first time the broccoli slaw overpowered the sandwich in my opinion. The second time (this past September) I tried it with the slaw on the side and while it was better, I just don't find it as delicious as so many people say. Maybe it's because I'm used to eating different kinds of hummus, but I just feel like it doesn't have much flavor. :confused3

The Vegetable Subosaurus at Restaurantosaurs was quite good. The grilled veggies were tasty and the toppings bar was very nice to add fresh veggies for crunch. Plus I love that it comes with sweet potato fries.

I also really like Capt. Cook's at the Poly. The vegetarian noodles are very good and I love that they have a veggie menu on their touch screen ordering stations. The flatbreads are also very good.

Thank you for posting all of this - I am going to WDW for my first trip as a vegetarian and my first thought was - "oh no, Casey's hot dogs!" I then resolved to get fries and put sauerkraut on them....I will let you know how that works out.
On that note, I do love the Lighthouse sandwich at CHH. Can't wait to try the veggie sandwich at Restaurantosaurus. Glad WDW has a lot of good veggie options!
Plus - just read in my AllEars newsletter that the popcorn is vegan!!!! (I haven't gone vegan, but if I do, this is music to my ears...and nose!)
