Best Counter Service Breakfast?

Hi all.

We realized we'll likely have one Counter Service credit on our MYW dining left over at the end of our trip, so we're trying to spend it on the best counter service breakfast at some point during the journey.

If a hotel has amazing counter service, we'd work that in, too!

-So yeah. Tastiest Counter service breakfast?

I was thinking Tusker House, but they seem to have done away with the tasty croissant breakfast sandwich since our last trip.

I love the omelets at POR's food court. Hubby and I split one every day on our last trip. We called them "serenity omelets" because the lady who made them just had the most amazing air of calmness about her, and the omelets were always so good we decided that some of her serenity was leaking into them.

I also really like the Tusker House breakfast platter. I've heard lots of good things about the French Toast Loaf at Main Street Bakery, but I have a hard time with sweet stuff for breakfast, so that's not for me. I guess I'm just more of an eggs and potatoes kind of girl.

We have enjoyed the food courts at both ASMO and ASSP. If you like sweeter things, the strawberry pancakes at ASSP were very good! Their breakfast sandwiches were also good. I found their breakfast platters to be not as good, the eggs seemed kind of bland but were good on the sandwiches, go figure ! We have also had good luck with the All Stars Food courts for lunch and dinner. I loved the Asian chicken salad at the ASMO food court. As for MK I think about the only breakfast offerings are at the Main Street Bakery and then there is a small walk up near Dumbo that has decent muffins and fruit and another similar place in Tomorrowland close to TTA. I do second the good reviews of the POR food court, we never had a bad meal there!

Three words - French Toast Loaf. It is heavenly. I wish that I had some right now. It is sold at the Main Street Bakery at MK and it is $3.99. It looks sort of like a layer cake and it is served with maple syrup. It is so delicious that I ate it without the syrup. I wish that I had the recipe because it is yummy!

Can you get the french toast loaf with a counter service credit? If so, what else would it come with? Just coffee or something?

Our favorite place for a quick breakfast is the Main St Bakery in the MK. We just have to get there French Toast Loaf every trip.

The best cs breakfast I had in MK was a fresh warm cinnamon bun from the main st bakery....it was to die for!!! It had a warm sort of maple syrup/caremelly sauce on it....ohhhhhh what i would do for another one of those!
