Hi,
We have used a Kodak Playsport for our videoing in the parks, but I'm looking to get something new. My biggest issue with the playsport is that it is that the video is pretty shaky. Any recommendations? Below are my highest priorities.

Stable/less shaky on playback
convenient (Small, preferably able to fit in pocket) -and pretty simple to use as I don't know much about them.

-waterproof would be great, if possible, also looking for something that uses SD cards.

Thanks!

Hi,

Have you ever looked into a Go-Pro or 'Sports' style camera? Most are very affordable and small [easily fit into a pocket]. Gives you great video quality [720,1080 and some 4k]. I personally own 2 Go-Pros and 2 Sony action cameras. You can also purchase a hand held stabilizer [from a 3-axis Gimbal to a simple flexible tri-pod]. The only down fall is you can't zoom, but i find most 'affordable' video recorders are only 3x optical zoom [unless you purchase a more expensive DSLR or camera that records video...another good option, IMO] with the digital zoom being much greater but the quality is horrible! I hope this helps!

Good luck and Kungaloosh!!

Hmm....
If that camera existed, you would no about it. Brian's suggestion is spot on. However the stabilizers are not water proof. The new GoPro Hero 5 and Hero 5 Session do have some electronic image stabilization, but it's still very shaky.

I recommend these two options.

Depending on your budget, this might be pretty steep! Good luck!
