As I get older, my aching feet get worse and worse every year... torture! I thought this year I might try compression socks and see if that helps. Does anyone have any recommendations on the best brands for long days at the parks? TIA! 🦶

My wife and I are big fans of anything from the brand Sockwell. They have gotten pricy over the years but they are incredibly breathable and well made. We have multiple pairs that are just barely starting to show some wear after 10 years of use. I believe they are mostly made for snowboarding and skiing so some of the designs are eclectic but we love them.

How heavy are they? Do you wear them in the parks when it is hot and humid?

I swear by compression socks at Disney. I have worn compression socks for years for work and started wearing them at Disney my past few trips and it is a game changer. I have even convinced my husband to wear them at Disney too and he agrees that his feet and legs are much happier after a long park day. My favorite brand is Crazy Compression...made in the US, lightweight but still noticeable compression, lots of fun designs and they often have sales or grab bag options with extra discounts.

I had looked at those, but for some reason didn't end up purchasing them. Thanks for your review. I'll give them a try.

When i worked in the jospital and was iny feet all day, i used SockWells. I use them now when i fly. The inly thing youight considee is the length—I’m 5’10 and i ha e to fold the cuff down a bit. So if you have short legs, this might be an issue for you.

They are made of the very good wool that’s not itchy and very breezy. I wear them all the time in the Nevada summers when it’s one hundred and bleep you degrees out plus multiple trips to Disney and universal in Orlando summers. They have also survived a lot of outdoor activities including getting snagged on weeds and such while doing yard work. They do warm me up slightly but the benefits are way worth it.

Yes, hence why I don't want to screw it up!
I wear the everyday. It will take you a minute to get used to the compression feeling. Have you ever worn them before? If you feel you need more support than the 15-22, talk with your doctor. They will point you in the right direction for your needs.

Just a side note. All Bombas socks provide some type of support, including the ankle. While not, compression, many Disney people love those for all day park wear. Maybe start there and look over more options on the website.

Just curious, why compression socks? Is it because you have trouble with circulation when you walk long distances or something else?

I used to have a lot of trouble with my feet at DL, both just feeling worn out and terrible blisters. Problem solved by a more supportive shoe and good quality cushioned walking sock, Thorlos Women's Dwmxw Max Cushion Distance Walking Ankle Socks.

I'd be interested in hearing about compression socks at DL, though. My husband wears them almost daily but never really thought about it in the parks.

I have used Ames Walker brand for years at home and Disney. More like trouser socks knee highs but with compression.
