Best Coffee in Disney Area

If I want a really good cup of coffee, or better yet, a great latte, where should I head in the Disney area? Onsite, offsite? Any great hole in the wall coffee houses that I should know about?

Well, I lived in Miami for while a long time ago and fell in love (or became addicted to) cafe cubano -- cubano expresso made with lots of sugar. So, the first time I went to Downtown Disney, I went right up to the outside Bongo's counter got to say what I hadn't been able to for 15 years, "uno calada por favor." That's like a triple serving. Anyway, this may not be your cup of "tea," but I love it. If you feel a little tired and need a caffine boost, that's the ticket. If you want a latte, just ask for a cafe con leche.

When I saw the question, I wondered if you were from Washington State. I live in Anacortes, Washington and I have a funny coffee story.

While staying at the Marriott Orlanado World Resort this past December, it was really late after a very long disney day when my family and I returned to our hotel. While walking through their snack bar/shopping area on the way to our room, we caught site of a sign for Fidalgo Bay Roasting coffee, which is roasted in the VERY small town in which we live some 2500 or more miles away. We know the owners so we took a photo to show them. We were quite surprised to say the least!

By the way, we brought our own coffee to brew in our room. Have a wonderful trip!!!

JKJK - How did you guess I was from WA? I know the coffee thing... pretty much pegs us, doesn't it? Fidalgo Bay - now we have truly made our mark on that part of the country. That is awesome.

I bring a good supply of beans with me in the carry-on, but run out midstream. I like jacrazy's suggestion for the Cuban coffee. I am going to try that. We have a spot up on Queen Anne Hill that serves traditional Cuban coffee and it is great. Now if we could just get Starbucks to get on contract with WDW.

I had a really good white chocolate cafe mocha at Gherdelli (Sp?)
At downtown disney
i will be going back there to get my fix since Starbuck's isn't there.
