We'll be spending two weeks (Yes, TWO WEEKS! ) at the Royal Pacific next May so will be eating a lot at the citywalk restaurants.

Which do you think the kids will like the best (Aged 9 and 11).

They have eaten in the Hard Rock Cafe several times before (and loved it!) and once at Pastamores.

Are there any places where kids are not allowed in (Bars and such)?

My kids like Motown. They could care less about the food but love the down stairs game room.
Kids can go in all restaurants.
NBA City has good food if they like basketball.

My kids love Margaritaville the most, and we do too. It is a really relaxed upbeat atmosphere. At night they have stilt walkers making balloon hats and there is always the volcano blowing!

Lucky you TWO WEEKS. With that much time you could go to all the restaurants and try them out. AND go back to the ones you liked best! You MUST try out Mythos in IOA. They have excellent food.

Margarittaville also. The kids enjoyed the atmosphere and of course the erupting volcano. It just seemed to have a "fun" feel.

We also stayed for 2 weeks my kids liked the Islands dining room at the RPR & Tchoup Tchoup also Finnegans & Lomabards at USO

We had 4 boys ages 4 to 6 with us and went to Latin Quarter. They never made us feel out of place, but it was a liitle too nice with that many kids. We only went there because I had the certificates from Clear Channel. We also went to Pat O'briens right after they opened and the only seating we could get was outside when it had been drizzling rain only 15 mins earlier and at 2 pub tables with bar stools. They had another room with low tables sitting empty and refused to let us sit there. I am guessing they did not want us there because we had 4 kids. Too bad, we are good tippers as my husband works (and I used to) in the restaurant business. We ended up going back there the next night and going to the bar walk up menu and ordering 4 pb&j sandwiches and virgin strawberry daquiris to go to use up those certificates.

Motown was great for the kids because of the arcade. margaritaville, Nascar, NBA and hard rock are all great choices.

My kids loved Margaritaville, but we all thought NBA City had the best food.
