best Christmas decorations?

We've never been to Disney at Christmas time. Was thinking about a short trip to see the decorations & experience Disney Christmas magic. In your opinion, which resort has the best Christmas decorations?

We LOVE the decorations at WL, (our fave. resort) the rustic/woods feel of the resort is just magnificent! Their tree is decorated to make the whole lobby feel so warm!!

Our second fave resort for Christmas decor is GF., they have a more...romantic/victorian feel and their tree is so beautiful!!!

Can't wait to go check them out again! Hope this helps, ENJOY!!!

You may want to look into the Yuletide Fantasy tour. We went on this tour last year, and it was fun! It is a guided tour that takes you to some of the parks, around to some resorts, and even "Behind the scenes" a little bit. You learn A LOT about the decorations!

but definetly the most unusual, you should visit the AKL. The decorations are very creative and something different.

I can still remember the WOW factor when we set foot in WL lobby for the holidays.. so rustic, yet cozy. The GF is a WOW even without the decorations. The tree adds another WOW factor.

One year we visited the Swan + Dolphin. One of those (can't remember which) had a tree lighting ceremony every afternoon. I'm not sure it they are still doing this.

How I wish we were going this year... I just love the holidays at WDW! Have fun!

We'll be there in Dec., and I can't wait to see the place decked out for the holidays! We'll be in POFQ, which I've not seen yet, but will hopefully be wonderful.

Heard that the gingerbread house at the GF was not to be missed.

We will be arriving early the first night and hope to do a resort tour to see decorations. Probably will start at the monorail resorts and move over to the Epcot area (depending on where we plan for dinner).

I loved the WL and GF as well as the Yacht Club, Beach Club and Boardwalk decorations.

The Dolphin atrium is worth a look too!

Have to agree with previous posters here. WL is GORGEOUS followed by GF. GF was nicer in years pastt but has gone to a smaller tree which in MHO is less impressive. AKL is lovely as well.

Wilderness Lodge! It's not my favorite resort - but I'll admit they have the best Christmas decorations. If you don't stay there, you must at least go see it. Breathtaking!
