Hi there, I was just wondering, seeing as it's only 20 days till Christmas now, if anyone would like to share what their favorite Christmas albums are? I sure could use some new holiday music to listen to  seems it's always the same stuff year after year.

Any takers?

My favs are my 3 Amy Grant CDs. A mixture of true Christmas songs, some fun ones and some that she wrote.

I really love the Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer soundtrack, I listen to it all the time. Taylor Swift's Christmas album is really good, and you can never go wrong with Josh Groban's Noel, his version of Angels We Have Heard on High is great!

Susan Boyle ... The Gift

Clay Aiken ... Merry Christmas With Love ... from Amazon ... Rated 4.9 out of 5.0 ... 602 reviews - $9.99 - In stock

Alabama: Christmas (their second C.D. has grown on me too, especially, the song "The Blessings".

Mitch Miller and The Gang: Holiday Sing Along
The "Glee" Christmas album (ironic considering I hate the show)
"Scrooge" soundtrack
"Elf" soundtrack
Kenny G Miracles

My all-time favorite Christmas song is the Boston Pops performing "Sleigh Ride". Love it!
Other songs I like:
The Polar Express
Manheim Steimroller (?) Carol of the Bells
Josh Groban Believe and I'll be Home for Christmas
Micael Buble's Let it Snow

and for laughs, The 12 Pains of Christmas:santa:

We love all the Manheim Steamroller ones
The Amy Grant ones
Special Christmas ......we have 3, but the first is the best.
Kenny Rogers....Christmas in America
Rosie O'Donnell's that she did with a variety of singers
N SYNC...yes, really ::yes::

Glee Christmas CD
Manheim Steamroller (any of the many)
Trans Siberian Orchestra
Josh Groban Noel

The ones in my CD player right now are:

Christmas Bells,
Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton: Once Upon a Christmas,
Little People Christmas Sing-Along,
Vince Guaraldi: A Charlie Brown Christmas, and
Sounds of the Season (Vol. 5, Disc 1)

I also love The Nutcracker,

and we used to have a John Denver and the Muppets that had both a really funny version of the Twelve Days of Christmas and a really lovely version of Silent Night - in English and German.

If you are looking for something different this is my all time favorite, it came out last year :)

Winter Songs by Halford (The Metal God singing "Oh Come O Come Emmanuel" and "Oh Holy Night" is classic plus he covers that popular Sarah Bareilles song "Winter Song" ) :thumbsup2

Twisted Christmas by Twisted Sister.... I absolutely love it. It's available on Itunes.

I also love Mannheim Steamroller and Kristin Chenoweth's album, A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas

I agree with some of the other ones: NSync!! 98 Degrees has some good christmas songs - This Gift and If Everyday Could Be Christmas, also Kristin Chenoweth and Trans Siberian Orchestra

Some of my favorites:

Leon Redbone
Fats Domino
Jimmy Buffet
Bare Naked Ladies

I'm liking the new Glee and Lady Antebellum albums for this year

Christmas storeis by Stuart McLean (he's Canadien)

Can't live without:
Johnny Mathis
Kingston Trio
Harry Belafonte

Annie Lennox- A Christmas Cornucopia (brand new this year)
Julie Andrews- Greatest Christmas Songs
Barbra Streisand- A Christmas Album and Christmas Memories
Now That's What I Call Christmas Vol 1 for a great mix of old and new songs
Frank Sinatra- A Happy Christmas from Frank Sinatra
A Very Special Christmas for great 80's artists doing Christmas classics
The Carpenters- Christmas Portrait

John Denver and the Muppets that had both a really funny version of the Twelve Days of Christmas and a really lovely version of Silent Night - in English and German.

I LOVED that album!! It had a really cute version of "Christmas is Coming" that Miss Piggy sang (Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, please put a penny in the old man's hat!)- so funny! Wish I could find it again.

MercyMe - Christmas Sessions

A Charlie Brown Christmas

Straight No Chaser

Boston Pops Holiday Pops

Twisted Christmas by Twisted Sister.... I absolutely love it. It's available on Itunes.

I also love Mannheim Steamroller and Kristin Chenoweth's album, A Lovely Way to Spend Christmas

Twisted Christmas is indeed absolutely amazing!!!!

So many great Metal Christmas albums.....between Twisted Sister, Halford and Trans-Siberian Orchestra plenty of head banging in my house while decking the halls :rockband:

Every TSO album is a must own not just for Metalheads but for all fans of Holiday Music but if I had to pick just one it would be "The Christmas Attic" such a powerful album, pure Metal and pure Christmas come together to make amazing music. :thumbsup2
