Best Christmas Albums

Christmas with the Kranks soundtrack.

Love it! One of my favorites!:thumbsup2

I LOVE Ringo Starr's Christmas CD, "I Wanna Be Santa Claus". I don't think a lot of people know about it, and I push it every year.:) Ringo's singing and drumming are a joy on every song. I especially love his version of The Little Drummer Boy and Rudolph. The Christmas Dance will make you want to get up and dance.:)

Also enjoy Jimmy Buffett's "Christmas Island", and The Ventures' Christmas Album.

I really like Harry Connick Jr's Christmas CD. Oh, and Josh Groban's is great as well.:thumbsup2

Alabama Christmas (1986) ......cant go through the holidays without it.....thanks to my parents

Reba Macyntire (sorry sp) Obviously I don't normally listen to her but on her Christmas album is one of my favorite Christmas songs ~ On this Day. Its a child singing about Jesus very Tiny Timmish. Love it!!!

My absolute favorite, is really old and I bet it would be hard to find. Gene Autrey's Christmas album. We used to play it when we were decorating the tree growing up and my Dad found it on CD for me after I got married and we still listen to it while decorating the tree. I also like Harry Connick Jr CDs. I got Josh Grobins last year for Christmas and it was good too. We have lots of Mannheim Steamroller too.

Josh Groban for classics
Bob Rivers, South Park and Larry the Cable Guy for fun

My two all-time favorites are the Johnny Mathis Christmas Album and Amy Grant's first Christmas album. I know, I'm showing my age!

I grew up with the Johnny Mathis one, and it just screams 'Christmas time" to me! And the Amy Grant one, I listened to over and over again in HS and college!

Christmas with Conniff and the Beach Boys Christmas album were two (of many) that my parents always put when we decorated the tree as kids. Now that I inherited the albums, I always put them on when I decorate my tree! My sister actually entered the 21st century and bought the Christmas with Conniff CD. It's still so awesome!

My all time Christmas favorite:

Soundtrack from The Preacher's Wife with Whitney Houston

Since you asked for something different...gotta agree with this one...

Some of my favorites:
Bare Naked Ladies

Also, Trans Siberian Orchestra's "Christmas Eve & Other Stories," "The Lost Christmas Eve," and "The Christmas Attic."

For more traditional stuff: Josh Groban & Michael Buble.

I LOVED that album!! It had a really cute version of "Christmas is Coming" that Miss Piggy sang (Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat, please put a penny in the old man's hat!)- so funny! Wish I could find it again.

Here it is!
