Hello all!

We are having our rehearsal dinner on a friday night. Where do you think is the best place to have it? We are going to have about 15-18 people and I want them to really get a feel for disney, however I'm not sure if character dining is what I want for a rehearsal dinner. We are staying at GF and since I'm not paying I want to see if I can give FMIL options.

I was thinking the dinner show at the poly, but if anyone has any other suggestions I am totally open to it. Also whats the Citricos Chef's Domaine? Is that sort of a dining experience or what? Thanks so much!

If you a buffet 1900 PF is pretty good & with Cinderella it kinda has that princess/wedding feel. Ohana at poly is all u can eat, lots of meat neither of those choice are what I would call quiet. Kona at poly has great food & would be a casual choice. CG at CR is a popular choice. I have not eaten at Citricos But one of my freinds says it is her not to missed for her trips. The show at poly does not always get the best reviews.

How about California Grill? Great food, excellant views. There is the wine room that should be able to seat your party size.

Another idea is Artist Point at WL. Very good food and a nice atmosphere. The theming at the resort is something to see. Also fairly easy for your party to get there.

Boma or Jiko at AKL are also excellant choices.

Good luck planning!:bride:

We did the show at the Poly and we had a great time, there was 25 of us so we wanted somewhere we could all be sat together. Our 2nd choice was Ohanas.
We really made a night of it and went to DTD afterwards and everyone really enjoyed themselves.

'Ohana would be a fun place, since it's AYCE set price with some entertainment for kids and a fun relaxing atmosphere for a RD.

Kona would be a good choice food wise but offers nothing in atmosphere.

If we got hitched at Disney, we'd do a RD at Hoop De Doo. It's hilarious, good food, and so much fun for people of all ages. Our families would really enjoy it.

I'd suggest the Grand Floridian Cafe or Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge. That covers two ranges of prices with different atmospheres.

Less casual, O'hana might be a good choice too.

Congratulations!

I would suggest Ohanas' also. I know of a few locals who have had their rehersal dinners there and they loved it. I would also recommend you check the fireworks schedule and try to be in the restaurant during Wishes. Plus, if their are small children in the wedding, it would be a fun place. Ohanas' is loud but it is one place where loud children don't bother me. Also, it has good entertainment. I LOVE their singer.:):):)

Have Fun

Thanks so much for all your replies. I think I will offer my FMIL California grill & Ohanas. They seem to be on different scales and I will let her chose. Thanks again!
