Best Chocolate on the DDP?

Where are the best chocolate desserts, drinks, and snacks available on the DDP? We're all chocoholics and we're hoping to try something different daily.

DH particularly loves very rich dark chocolate.

While the chocolate wave at Coral Reef is a favorite of many, they also now have a chocolate jack daniels mousse. I had it twice on our last trip and it was great. I was pretty much caked out after a 12 night stay, so getting the mousse was a nice change. I do warn you that the JD is the bottom layer and it really had a kick -- which was OK by me. The server couldn't believe that all of us went for the mousse over the chocolate wave. I did find the chocolate cake served at every place we ate at was good, but was the same everywhere. The chocolate lava cake at the Kona Cafe is pretty good too!

A favourite chocolate snack of mine on the DDP is at Goofy's Candy Company in Downtown Disney. You get one of the regular Mickey rice krispie treats on a stick, but dip it COMPLETELY in milk chocolate, then put whatever other goodies on it (I like crushed m&m's, followed by a drizzle of white chocolate and caramel). It is sooo rich, that it took me a couple days to eat, but oh....what a treat!!!

Chocolate Wave at Coral Reef. Whatever the current chocolate dessert is at CG. We also love the chocolate covered caramel apples at the Candy Cauldron at DTD (these may not be considered snacks on DDP, however). One other favorite -- the cookie ice cream sandwich with fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies available at places in MK, including Main Street Bakery.

I enjoyed Mickey Rice Krispy treats w/ chocolate dipped ears. Whispering Canyon Cafe had a nice kahlua chocolate cake.

If you want something really chocolatey and only 1 SC try the chocolate covered chocolate entmann donuts at the resort gift shops. Better get a gallon of milk to go with.

Can you get the chocolate wave without dining at Coral Reef? I'm guessing not, but I sure will miss it this year!
