Can anyone share product advice on buying an electric razor for my father? What is the best brand for the best price etc.

Does he use one already?? If not - he may not like them. I know my DH and Father don't care for them. They have a heavy beard, and don't work on them as well. They get the 5 o'clock shadow.

Believe me - with the price of razor blades these days - I wish they would use an electric. Looking forward to the other responses.

My DH HAS to shave for work and doesn't use one either. However I am interested in one for my DS as he has very light hair and he has had one in the past but lost the cord. He is only 16 so it is simpler for him to use. Can't wait to see the replies to this thread.

I have used Norelco razors for over 40 years and find them very comfortable. I have to replace mine very few years as the batteries will die after about five years.

DH and DS both have the Norelco Cool Skin razors. They work great, even for DS who gets the 5 oclock shadow. They have a button to push to get the shaving lotion out so it doesn't irritate their skin, are rechargeable, and can be used in the shower. I think I paid about $100 each for them. DH wanted one to try out and I bought DS one when he started shaving because he has tremors and I was worried about him using a razor with exposed blades.
