We have a huge one and don't want to spend too much on another one. I looked at the side by side jeep one that was under 100. but it looks like an umbrella. I have a hard time pushing umbrellas, they seem not to be high enough and I'm only 5'5". This will be for a 2 yr old and 4.5 mth old. We will have a carrier, but there may be times where she just wants to lay down. thanks

Hi! In my opinion, a jogging stroller is the easiest to push, but my kids are bigger and heavier than yours. I used a chicco side by side for a couple of years and that was great, too. The jogger is most definitely easier to push than the chicco, but the chicco was fine while they are lightweight!

Also, I have taken my graco tandem stroller and that was awful to take to a park. I would say an umbrella would be better than that!

I found my current Graco jogging stroller (which I purchased specifically for Disney trips) on Craig's List. You can defintely get a decent one for $100 and everyone that I know that has used Craig's List has been pleased...(I was skeptical about it but I had a great experience!)

Good luck!

I would check your local craigslist or bookoo site, and if people are still having yardsales in your area check there (i only say that because there are still like 3 in our area every weekend). I used the Jeep side by side in Feb (I got it off a local yard sale site) and it is easy to push, folds up easily, and was able to hold 2 toddlers. But, this past trip I used a Graco Ipo Double from a double stroller swap on another board and it was nice. It drove REALLY easily, folded up with one hand, and actually had a basket underneath. I would suggest that one, but its more expensive.

If you have your own at home, but just want a lightweight for Disney, try the double jogger they have at Orlando Stroller Rentals.

It's a Baby Jogger City Mini Double. I rented a single when my DD was 4 mos old when we went in February, and it reclined great for her to sleep in. She probably was a little too small for it, but the straps were tight enough, and she was comfy!

Another vote for Orlando stroller rental. The stroller we rented from them was great. My kids were 1, 5, and 6 and all of them loved it, they fought to get in the stroller, whereas at home they never want to be in one.

We are trying the double stroller from Orlando Stroller in January for our 2 boys ages 2 and 4.

From an experienced dad of 3 do not go cheap. You will regret it especially after Disney. The cheap stroller may not make it. I have been know to throw some away at the airport. The cheap strollers tend to rip at the seats. The handles are supper low which is terrible on the shoulders. I would have to make my wife push. Even looking at her she would be humped over. Not good. Had one whose wheels feel off every time we crossed the trolley rails at MK. Go used or search Googles like a madman and look for the Maclaren. Costs more I know. But you will not be sorry. The four umbrellas we bought and threw away are much more expensive than the one Maclaren that will last the entire youth of you children.

The Maclaren features high handles, huge rain shield, one handed fold up, shoulder strap for carrying, reclineable, super light, huge weight rating to last many years, great resale (you will get a portion of your money back), large basket underneath.

We own one of the City Mini Doubles, and it is the best stroller (out of 7! singles and doubles) that I've had. We tried the Combi double, and it is small, but a PITA and very wobbly- not one you want to push for miles.

Our CM has been to Boston, NYC and Disney, and I've always been glad to have the storage, the big sun shades and the almost full recline. Ifyou can't buy one, rent one.

Although DH wants me to point out that it is no fun on the bus- but I think any double stroller would be the same.

Hi just wondering also about renting but did'nt know if my DD4 1/2 would fit comfortable inside of it I know my DD 8 mos would, so you would rcommend for a 41/2 yr old?

The previous posters are talking about renting from Orlandostrollerrentals.com, not from Disney. The Disney strollers probably won't work for your 8 month old, but the ones from Orlandostrollerrentals.com will and you will have the stroller outside the parks (unlike the Disney strollers).

And it is less expensive than the Disney strollers.

I would swear by our sit n' stand. They have a model that has two regular seats as well....but our three year old and our 9 month old were really comfy in our sit n' stand last year. We are going again and march and the sit n' stand is coming as well.

As for Macleren....I know some people love them, but I think they are cheaply made pieces of junk. I have shelled out money for a 'nice' macleren model twice, and twice the wheels have been warped within two months of owning it, just from normal activities like going to the mall. I have never had a problem like that with any other brand. I think they are a gimick..
