We will be heading back to Disney in Febrauary. Last year we went to Chef Micky and Crystal Palace for wonderful Character Dining Experiences. We would lke to try some other places this time around. What do you think about Tuskar House, or Cape May Cafe for a character meal. My daughter loves mickey and all his pals, so we are looking for a place where we can meet and greet a large majority of the characters.

My son loves Tusker House Breakfast buffet...they have great food selection, great character intaction, yummy juice & coffee. They have a musical parade that your daughter will enjoy. How old is your daughter...if she is young, another great character meal that my son loves is Hollywood and Vine (they have song/dance ever 20 mins and a musical parade). Both character meal is a must for my son.

Tusker House/Donald's Safari Breakfast is great. Awesome food, some of it unique, and terrific characters make a great start to a morning. You get Donald, Mickey, Goofy, and it's the only place you get :lovestruc Daisy. Can't get more classic than that.

We loved Cape May Cafe. The food was great and the character interaction some of the best we've experienced. We've never done Tusker House. I also understand the character breakfast, 1900 Park Fair, at the Grand Floridian is very good too.

Tusker House breakfast is our families favorite character meal. We love the characters dressed in safari gear (especially loved meeting Daisy:daisy:) The food was fantastic. Tons of yummy choices. The service was excellent, the jungle juice is soooo good. We love everything about it!:lovestruc

We also enjoyed Tusker House breakfast, but my kids favorites were Garden Grill as well as 1900 Park Fare dinners.

At Garden Grill DD had just bought a Chip and Dale stuffed doll that morning and brought it with her. Chip and Dale both made a big deal of the doll and came over twice for Chip and three times for Dale. They kept hugging the toy and pointing to themselves. DD was thrilled. When Pluto came over he poked it with his nose and made a big deal of her liking Chip and Dale over him. We also saw Pluto twice and Mickey once.

At 1900 the kids both loved the step sisters and step mother. Prince Charming kissed DD's hand and taught DS to bow. I think Cinderella was the least favorite of the characters at that meal if you can believe that. The kids had been to Bibbidi Bobbidi that afternoon and DD was in a Belle dress that we had bought from home. The step sisters called the sparkles and paint in DS's hair pixie snot which to an 8 year old boy was the height of hilarity. For the rest of the trip he'd look at me and say "Do you remember when the stepsister called my hair pixie snot?" and crack up.

The step mother asked DD if Belle was her favorite princess and she said no it was the only dress she had. The stepmother made such an issue of that poor girl only having one gown and what was wrong with me as her mother didn't I understand that she needed many gowns to marry a prince. DD just giggled through the whole thing. It was really excellent character interaction.

We haven't been to Tusker House or Cape May yet, but we will be going this September to both. Last trip, our sons enjoyed O'Hana breakfast with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto, and Hollywood and Vine with the Jojo, Goliath, June, and Leo. I don't think we have been to a bad character experience so no matter what you pick you should have a great time.

Tuskar for me too. I've never been to Chef Mickey but have heard great things about that one also. Crystal palace was really good.
