Hello. We are planning our next WDW vacation and will be traveling with 12 people from my family. What is your opinion on the best place to have a character meal with 6 adults and 6 six kids (4 girls, 2 boys ages 8 to 3)?? We have done a couple in the past (the Castle for one) but it hasn't been with that large a group.

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

IMO I would say Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare. They are at the Contemporary or Grand Floridian. SO if you're not staying at either of these, you can take the resort monarail from the MK or Ticket Trans. Center. Since they are both out of the parks, they are a (little) less crazy. They are both excellent and they are both buffet. You can check out a sample menu at allearsnet.com ENJOY!! :sunny:

Chef Mickeys was fun lots of food choices for that big a group. The Stitch and Lilo breakfast too. It had Mickey and Pluto, but the meal is served family style. The usual fruit, pastry, eggs bacon sausage type stuff, waffles too.

I would say Crystal Palace or 1900 Park Fare. Those are big enough to handle large groups, and lots of food. I haven't been to Chef Mickey's so no advice there!! Have fun!

I would say chef Mickeys. They have faboulas food, the main characters. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMopluto: :goofy: :donald: : If not then Crystal Palace. Winnie the pooh characters. That's Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, 95% of the time Piglet, and 10% of the time Rabbit. Again, great food!!! :tigger: pooh: :eeyore:

We (my family) have done Chef MIckey's,Ohana and Park Fare as a large group. I would say Chef Mickey's has the most variety of characters and food,Park Fare next then Ohana. Chef Mickey's probably would be the best choice...make your adr's as soon as you can for your trip though!

I would suggest Liberty Tree Tavern. I saw serveral large groups there and they seemed to be having a great time. The good thing about LTT is that it is not a buffet, so you don't have to worry about missing characters because someone is in the food line. The characters were not rushed and came several times. We got some awesome pictures here.
