Want to know what Character meal serves the best Food. Can be breakfast ,Lunch , or Dinner. Don't really care about interaction with characters-want food perspective only.

For us it's Crystal Palace for Breakfast and Cinderella's Castle for lunch.

DH thinks Cinderella's lunch is the best meal on property.

We really like food at Donald's Safari breakfast at Tusker House.
If you don't care much about characters Boma's at AKL has one of the yummiest Breakfast buffets on disney property!

Foodwise, Tusker House Breakfast and CRT lunch were the best for us. We also liked Crystal Palace and Akershus lunch (I'm sure dinner would be good too). 1900 Park Fare the food was just okay. I'd never go there just for the food. We thought the food at Chef Mickey's dinner was disgusting. We won't be going back to that one.

My three favorites for the Food were CRT lunch, Tusker House Breakfast and H&V breakfast! H&V is my husband's favorite of all of them!

Cape May had excellent food, a fairly small selection compared to some other breakfast buffets but it was being replenished *constantly*. Everything was top-quality and perfectly done and extremely fresh. And the buffet was never crowded.

We also had dinner at Akershus and we did go mostly because we love seafood, we were amazed how good the food was considering it was a character meal and most people don't go to those for the food. But all of it was really good, the appetizer buffet had a great variety of salads, meats, cheeses, and traditional Norwegian dishes like smoked salmon and pickled herring. We both had the mustard-glazed salmon, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented with some lovely roasted orange and yellow carrots and tiny baby potatoes. And then the 3 desserts to share were a nice variety (rice pudding with strawberries, school bread, and chocolate mousse), just enough of each to try some. DH even declared that he'd never liked pickled herring *or* rice pudding until that night but thought their versions were excellent and he'd happily eat them again.

We did 3 character meals when we were there last Apr. We loved Donald's Safari Breakfast at AK. There was an extensive variety of food, and it was all delicious. The juice was especially yummy. We also enjoyed the Cape May Breakfast Buffet at the Beach Club. Again, lots of selection, and everything was great. I did NOT enjoy Chef Mickey's food at all. Yuck. However, the character interaction was great. For what it's worth, my kids did like the food, but they just had the usual kiddie fare.

I'm glad to hear so many people pick Donald's Breakfast at Tusker House, CRT lunch and Boma breakfast. We made ADR's at each of them and will be our first time at each. :thumbsup2

Just from a food stance my family loved Ohana and 1900 Park Fare. The breakfast at Ohana was very tasty and fresh! Plus you just can't beat the view while you are dining.:) The dinner we enjoyed at 1900 Park Fare was very tasty. My husband loved all the different options they had and to be honest I would have been perfectly content just eating the strawberry soup and nothing else!;)

I miss the old 1900 Park Fare for dinner, amazing food there.
Never been disappointed with Crystal Palace breakfast.
Also, although it's not a character buffet, I highly recomend Boma for dinner :)

Our Favorites were

Norway Princess Breakfast - food was really good - basic breakfast stuff but they kept it coming and it was tasty. Those potatoes. YUM

Ohana Breakfast - - I think we love the family style. And the yummy mickey waffles.

We also did CRT for dinner and we loved it. Crystal Palace - not our favorite. Chef Mickeys for dinner - we enjoyed it as well.

Donalds for breakfast, CP for lunch, CRT for dinner would be my vote.

We went to Cape May Cafe Breakfast this year and loved the food and interaction. This has to be the best breakfast at the World.

Our favorites, so far, is Akershus for Breakfast and Cape May Cafe Breakfast. Both breakfasts the food is always hot and they are always replenishing them. We have eaten at Tusker House and the food was good there as well, but our top two choices are the ones that I previously mentioned. For our December trip we are trying out a few other new Character meals that I am excited about because I have heard the food is very good, but we are also going back to our two favorite restaurants as well. Have a magical trip.
