Best Character dinners?

We are going back to Disney in March and looking for our Character dinner family treat! We did Mickeys Backyard BBQ this year which was brilliant, it was just really busy and quite a journey from our resort as you have to take a boat etc....I am tempted to do Chef Mickeys but the BBQ was quite good entertainment as my son liked dancing to Mickey.

Does anyone have any recomendations? My little boy is 5.

1900 Park Fare was our favorite character meal. The stepsisters spent so much time with my son!

Crystal Palace is also delicious at all meals.

Tusker House is delicious at all meals as well.

1900 Park Fare is our favorite. The character interactions are excellent, lengthier than most, and usually quite entertaining. We prefer the character interactions over CRJ, Akershus, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey, and Tusker House. We prefer the food at 1900 over CRJ, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickey.

If your child enjoyed dancing with Mickey at the BBQ, I would recommend Tusker House. The food is very good and they give the children instruments to play while marching around the restaurant with the characters. Chef Mickey's food is quite bad and, especially the dinner, it's not worth the price tag.

We agree with Tusker House. We love Garden Grill but there is no dancing with the characters. We did love the characters at CP but the food was okay.

Last year we did a couple character meals and the best characters we the tremaine's at 1900. The sisters and mother were awesome and the kids loved the interaction with them. Also the food was great.

yes they do dinner.
they include soft drinks, not alcoholic beverages... but the price is much lower than a "dinner show" like the backyard BBQ is. They have grownup drinks available for extra.
