My first choice would be Donald's Breakfastsorus, (don't know how it's spelled), my second choice would be Chef Mickey's. Both are good for breakfast. There is also the LTT in the MK.
We did do Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey last time. He was six then. He did ask if we could going back to Chef Mickey, and I played it off. We are not breakfast eaters so later in the day is better for us. I thought about even doing the fantasmic dinner package, but no characters???huh???
I'd do Chef Mickey's for dinner. I don't know about the food at dinner, but we had breakfast there our last trip & it was much better than I anticipated. Our DS is 12 also and he's a huge Donald fan, so we scheduled Donald's Breakfastosaurus for one of our character meals. I found out from the boards the other night that Chef Mickey's dinner also includes Donald. This will work out great since we're going to Chef Mickey's for dinner our first night!!! We haven't told him that Donald will be at that meal - hoping to start the trip off right with that little surprise for him! We have Crystal Palace (Pooh & friends) and CRT lunch scheduled too, but mostly for our DD who is 6 (this is her first WDW trip). Just trying to please them both!
We did Donalds breakfasaurus and also Chef Mickeys and for our family Chef Mickey won by a mile. In fact we liked it so much we decided to make a PS for breakfast for the morning we left. We have decided from now on our tradition will be to end our trip with breakfast at Chef Mickeys
