Going to Disney in October with DH, DD7 and I am trying to get opinions on the best character dinings. We have done Donald's Breakasaurus and Liberty Tree Tavern so far. We are not breakfast people and my DH is VERY picky, not into the fancy food and not brave to try it. I was looking into Chef Mickeys for either lunch or dinner. What do you guys/gals suggest?? Need some lunch and/or dinner ideas for good character experiences. My daughter LOVES Donald but we did that and not looking for breakfast this time. She also loves Mickey, Minnie and all the Princess but especially Ariel.

PLEASE HELP...... we will greatly appreciate it!

Everyone has their own opinion, but our favorite character meal is Chef Mickeys-and we like their dinner rather than breakfast. We think that the character interaction is the best! The characters have been patient and willing to let us take as many pictures as we wanted. We have been there 5 times, and have had good service every time.

We really liked Chef Mickey's. The food, despite the descriptions on allearsnet is pretty normal, and almost everyone should be able to find something they like. My DH is really particular and brings up how much he liked it, including the food; we've booked it for our return.

Ariel is usually at PSB at Akershus in Norway, but I've heard mixed things about the food there--we're going anyway because I have a princess fanatic at my house.

My very favorite for both breakfast and dinner is 1900 Park Fare, for both the food and character interaction.

I have to say that we have enjoyed most of the character meals we have done (DD and I have done quite a few since January) but there were small things about some that did not make it quite as wonderful an experience as 1900 Park Fare was for us.

We just did Chef Mickey with my DSis and Great Nephew on Sunday. I had not been there in three years, and we enjoyed it. My DSis is pretty picky and she even complimented the breakfast pizza!
