I was wondering what everyone thought was the best character dining restaurant. If you could only go to one, which one would you choose? Also, one that a 20 month old girl would like but with food that her Dad will also enjoy. :)

Thanks!

CRT I feel is the best charater meal period. It's the castle :cloud9: yea know THE CASTLE with princesses. princess:

My kids were 5 and 2 our last visit to WDW and they said CRT (Princesses) and Crystal Palace to see Winnie the Pooh.

We've eaten at the Crystal Palace for breakfast and lunch, and there is a good variety of food at both meals. It depends on the child, but my children when they were younger favored the Pooh and friends meals because they seemed not as hyper as say Chef Mickey's, where there is a little more action/noise. Just what was better for my kids.

we just returned from our vacation at WDW on Sat. I think our favorite character meal would have to have been Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern in MK.
My DS 22 and DS12 were with us and they enjoyed it too... Food was great and plenty of it...Characters were great...plenty of opportunities for pictures...(much to the dismay of our 22 y/o but he didn't complain too much, when Mom was wanting him to pose for pics, instead of eating, which he really likes to do... :rotfl: :rotfl: ) but i think the best thing was our CM..Cheri....she was great...laughing and talking with us and the boys, and talk about anticipating what we needed...drinks refilled before they became empty, more food brought out as needed....we didn't have to ask for anything....Thanks Cheri...I did let her Supervisor know what a great job she did, along with leaving a extra tip (we were on the dining plan)...and she wasn't just like that with us it was her whole section of tables...you could tell she really enjoyed her job. :flower: :flower: :flower:

Another vote for Crystal Palace. We have only eaten lunch here but the 3 times we have it was great.

Sorry to get a little off topic here..but as you just were at Liberty Tree maybe you can help me here. On the dining plan, what food do they give you? WHat drinks are you allowed and what are you allowed for desert? I have been wondering about this as I have seen a couple diffrent things. Thanks for any info! :)

For the OP.. We are doing CRT for dinner so no characters there but we are also going to do Chef Mickeys and Liberty Tree Tavern. We have heard good things about them all though.

It was a family style dinner ...platter of meat that had turkey and dressing, flank steak and ham with a honey mustard glaze, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans....oh yeah to start with there was a salad with a strawberry vinegarette dressing that was really good, and warm rolls with honey butter....drinks were coke products, lemonade, and I think this was one of the few resturants that had sweet tea....my favorite...For desert we had warm Cherry cobbler with icecream. Everything was served in large bowls and you served yourself....and of course it was all you could eat...they would refill anything you wanted....but believe me even with two big eaters DH and DS (22) it was plenty for the 4 of us....we left stuffed and I think the only thing we had refilled was the mashed potatoes... :)
