Best Character Breakfast OUTSIDE the Parks?

I want to go to a character breakfast the day we depart Disney. I have a seasonal pass, and a blackout period starts the day we leave (Dec 18). So it can't be inside a park.
So which is best and why?
Chef Mickey's
O'Hana
or 1900 Park Fare?
It will be 2 adults, and while this is probably a dumb question, is one a little more quiet than another?
I'm not a Lilo and Stitch fan....are there always other characters at O'Hana?

If you want to see Mickey and the gang I'd go with Chef Mickey's. If you want the best food I'd go with 1900 Park Fare. If you don't like Lilo & Stitch I wouldn't choose 'Ohana. The breakfast there, while good, is very basic and you'll have more variety in the other locations.

Have a great trip!

We really like Ohana for breakfast. While I wouldn't call it quiet, I think by being served family style it cuts out a lot of the commotion of a buffet. The food is really good too. We did Chef Mickey dinner and I found that almost obnoxious it was so loud. Never tried 1900. We do Ohana breakfast every trip.
I think it would be hard to screw up breakfast. Let us know which one you pick.

We have ADRs for O'hana's for our last day. This is going to be our first time eating here. I have heard and read many wonderful things about the breakfast. My kids love Lilo but don't care too much about Stitch, but this is a character meal that we have never done so they want to try it. Besides Lilo and Stitch, there is also Mickey and Pluto dressed in their island gear.

As for the other character meals that you listed, we have only been to CM but for dinner. The food was very good and the character interaction was amazing. I too have heard that the CM breakfast is much better than the dinner. Good luck and have a great trip.

I couldn't agree more. The food at 1900 was wonderful. The Mad Hatter was so hilarious too, he made the whole thing for us. We tried to imitate his voice for weeks after we got back. :rotfl: All the standard characters are at Chef Mickey's, which is great!!! Food quality though, I would stick with 1900.

I know you didn't mention it as an option, but we really enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Cape May. :) We saw Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale (not sure if they're all there now or not). Of course, if you want the "quintessential" Disney experience, ya gotta go with Chef Mickey's! :goodvibes

Oh I forgot about Cape May! Thanks!
Hmmm so which one?
Cape May, 1900, O'Hana, or Chef Mickey's?
Decisions decisions.....

I have two trips coming up. I made reservations for the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe for the first trip.

I'm still undecided on for the 2nd trip! I'm going to try for Crystal Palace one day, so we will get the Pooh Characters there. But I still need an outside the parks breakfast for the day we leave. I have to make the ADR's before I go to Cape May, so I guess I'll try for a different one on the December trip.

I like the idea of the family style service at 'Ohana and I've never been to the Poly so I'd love an excuse to see the resort.
Can anyone tell me what characters they saw at 'Ohana last time?

I *think* I have it narrowed down to 1900 or 'Ohana. I'm already eating at the GF twice (Citricos and Narcoossee's). But I'm not big on Lilo and Stitch....thoughts?

Out of those three my vote would be for Ohana. I should preface it by saying that I'm not a big buffet fan, so Ohana gets extra points in my book for being family style;)--but I also like it for the good food, nice setting, Stitch is fun!

My vote would probably go with 1900 Park Fare.

We've eaten here several times and we have always had good food and great character interaction.

To b honest 1900's is better even though u dont see mickey but at breakfat u can see pooh tigger and i dont remember who else at dinner We had the mad hatter alice and so on great food..Chef mickeys u meet mickey n everyone food isnt so great i would rather chew on a cardboard box.

I would vote for Cape May as well. I was there in early August. The food was great, it was very low-key and Minnie, Goofy, Pluto were all there.

We like 'Ohana. I agree that, because it's not a buffet, it's a bit less hectic. Characters include Mickey and Pluto. Minnie sometimes. Goofy, too, as I recall.

There is a parade with the kids once an hour led by Mickey, but it's more on the cute than the obnoxious side.

I think two adults would be comfortable there.

Added bonus -- breakfast includes fresh fruit including pineapple, and tasty pineapple bread.

Plus, it's fun to visit the Polynesian. We always stay at Epcot resorts so it's a chance to see the place and enjoy how pretty it is.
